The dark night..

It was a dark night as the moon was hidden in the clouds. I was traveling down the road to the city center from my village. While crossing near a forest, I heard a sound of a lady singing in the woods. I love the song so much that I forgot to go the city and followed the song. After about an hour I ended up reaching a lake in the center of the woods . Suddenly the song stopped and the darkness faded away I saw the lighted houses on the other side and a boat in the center of the lake and in the boat there was a fisherman sitting still. Suddenly I remembered the words of the elders of the village about the stories of the haunted village hidden in the woods and the people of that village were slaughtered during the great wars by an another village situated in the mountains of the east. I was scared so I took out my knife and sat down at the place where I was standing and it was midnight so it was not safe for me to enter the village of the ghost so I stood up and decided to came again next time. So I headed towards the route to go to the city..

This incident happened around 55 years ago but I still not have the courage to go there and now I thanked God, after knowing that I was the first person to came back alive from the haunted forest...
