SAW HER AGAIN

"Ahhhhh"

This shriek made Peter come back to reality. He let go of Jared's hand. Peter could see the boys running away and between them he could see figure of two girls standing there who looked familiar to him in the alley. One of the girls who had book in the hands threw in Derek's direction came forward and asked him-

" Are you hurt?"

He looked towards David and found him badly hurt lying on the floor.

"No" he replied "but David is hurt preety badly we have to take him to the hospital."

Saying this Peter helped David stand up.

"We will go with you."

Peter was surprised after all No one ever cared for him except his close relatives. He was surprised that why would someone accompany him. He asked "Are you sure?"

" Yeah. Afterall your wound doesn't look any good. " Now Peter noticed the wound on his hand which were caused by Jared. He realised that his wound was not better than that of David's. So he agreed because he knew can't take David to the hospital alone.

They helped Peter and David to the nearest hospital to treat his and David's wounds. When the the doctors had taken care of the wounds and were given some meds they noticed that the girls had not left yet. Peter thanked the girls to take them to the hospital meanwhile David noticed that their face seemed really familiar.

"It's okay" the girl replied to Peter's thanks.

This voice David had heard it countless times in his childhood it was the voice of the girl he missed dearly. He knew this voice belonged to the girl whom he saw on his dreams. He want to call that name out but what if she was not her? How embarrassed would she be. A sound rang through his head -

"You don't care about people's feelings."

"Do you even care how others fell when you talk about them?"

He remembered the voices. Was it really true that he didn't cared about others felling? Why does the society think of him this way when he is only speaking the truth? He still remembered his childhood lessons teachers used to say never tell a lie because - telling the truth and making someone cry is better than telling a truth and making someone smile.' Or they say 'life is short and there is no time to leave important words unsaid so speak your mind because then only you can make those unsaid words said.',But why when he speaks his mind in front of people and tells the truth people and society believes him to be self absorbed or arrogent. But why? When he tries to be a person that everyone adores he becomes a person who is not himself by doing this he hurts a lot of people who are close to him and like him the way he is. Why? Why does the society have to be this harsh? What should he do? Should he follow his heart and say those those unsaid words? Or not?
