Chapter 1

"Lately I've been thinking, thinking 'bout what we had

I know it was hard, it was all that we knew, yeah"

Choi never thought that his life would end like this. After spending almost 2 to 3 years living with Ciara, he had no idea on how to live on his own. He realized that he depended so much on Ciara that he forgot how to do pretty much everything.

Choi noticed the signs early on but he chose to ignore it, as he didn't think it would be of importance. He noticed how she would distance herself away from him, as is he were some kind of disease she didn't want to catch.

A week later, he found himself staring from the front porch onto Ciara, watching her go from afar. He really couldn't believe that she was really leaving him after almost 3 years together. He was so used to her everyday presence that he didn't know what to do anymore.

An hour has passed and he still couldn't bring himself to enter the mansion, his mansion. Just when he decided to enter, his friend, Justin, decided to drop by.

Choi didn't want to talk with anybody, but he couldn't bring himself to ask Justin to leave. Justin could tell that Choi wasn't in his right mind. Justin went inside Choi's mansion, as he left his door open.

Choi was drinking excessively and from his look on his face, Justin could tell someone did something to him. " Choi you can't drink like this. What's wrong with you?", Justin asked him.

Choi just looked at him and said " She ended it hyung". He began telling Justin how she would distance herself from him to all the fights they had over small things to this evening.

No one would've thought that they had problems since they were always so close and so united. Choi wasn't able to sleep all night long after Justin had left.

He didn't worry about having the front door of his mansion open, since everyone was welcomed inside. He honestly doesn't like to draw attention to himself despite being filthy rich.

*Choi's pov*

I could tell that Justin told the rest of our group about my situation, since I could hear them snoring in the living room. as i entered, Selinaa barely woke up as soon as I powered on the coffee maker.

"Im sorry", she said. I shrugged like it was no big deal, but deep down I knew it was a lie and she knew it too.

By then, my friends have already woken up and began saying that its affecting me since yesterday. I couldn't deny anything though as it was true.

I had already lost the battle once it started. I began making them their coffee as they liked it and I made myself an Americano. I could tell that they were watching me since I never drink this coffee because of the bitter taste.
