I am here with my childhood friends , Sasha and Daniel. I am their best CP fan that I have to keep match making them and I , as their best friend, know their biggest secret that they like each other but these idiots are not planning to confess to each other for the fear of getting rejected while me, their friend, is getting hella irritated for these two so I decided to make them two have their lone time and here we are, at the best couple spot near our city. when I decided to leave these two alone to cultivate feelings, these two idiots dragged me with them to play games as well .Now I am trying my best to not to get annoyed and keep calm by looking at these two idiots trying to boast their skills and trying to make themselves look better in front of each other ( which is totally unnecessary , since they like each other) here I feel awkward as a big light bulb 💡 now I have only one thought " GOD!! SOME ONE PLS SAVE ME FROM BEING A LIGHT BULB "

The moment felt that I will die of embarrassment, a guy came towards us . He introduced himself that his name is Oliver. He said that he came from a foreign place and that he did not have any friends and asked if he could join us. Without thinking for a while about it I enthusiastically welcomed him . I felt that inviting a stranger with us might make me feel more comfortable than being a light bulb .So we all decided to go to a nearby juice stall to have some drinks . After we ordered drinks, we went to sit in the chair arranged there .we were seated like this :

Well I probably didn't notice it, (because I was in hurry to get out of embarrassment) that Oliver who came with us was very handsome. He looked gentle , calm and friendly . The four of us had a great time talking to each other and we did not notice that it was nearly afternoon.

Since the climate was getting hotter. We decided to stroll in the Garden which was created near the sea. That place was very beautiful , it has the sea in one side and beautiful Garden designed like a forest in the other side. The four of us were walking in the Park . My two friends flirting and fighting with each other which made me feel very awkward since I felt like or I am a light bulb . Probably noticing my awkwardness, Oliver leaned over and said " why don't we leave these two and go alone " .I felt it was a good suggestion without thinking about the other consequences, I agreed. I went to my two friends and said " hey guys I am going on a stroll along with Oliver in that direction,( pointing in another direction) you guys continue, I will be back in an hour" .Sasha and Daniel cast ambitious glances at me and Oliver. Sasha leaned over in my ear at said with a hint of teasing "best of luck ,amelia, Oliver is handsome and is your type as well go enjoy your date". I felt irritated and said back "whether you believe it or not , we are nothing like that!!! ". Sasha just glanced at me with a look of teasing and just said " oh oh oh " and when I was about to beat her ,she ran away dragging Daniel with her .After they went some distance I turned around to see Oliver smiling at me with the look of I enjoyed good show. I felt embarrassed when I saw his smile " then let's go" was all I could say to relieve my embarrassment.

After we walked some distance, I couldn't help but say " please don't take what they say seriously they are always like that " after that there was unavoidable silence between us two . I couldn't know what he was thinking because he always had a calm face making it difficult to see his thoughts. Soon I heard him saying " why not? aren't they true "

God!! I felt my face getting hot I am so sure that I blushing .Just as I successfully managed to clam down my emotions I saw him bending down, taking my hand gave it a slight kiss~ and saying " may I have the pleasure of taking this beautiful girl to a pleasant date ". At that time * A perfect gentleman * these words flashed through my mind . Seeing his sincere face, coupled with the fact that he is my type I couldn't help but say " yes "

Then the first date of my entire life along with a total stranger began~ . At first, we strolled around the artificial forest for sometime . we talked about a lot of things about ourselves about friends family. I was probably too indulged in the atmosphere and kept talking completely forgetting that the person next to me is a complete stranger to Me who I just met today . We got some ice-cream and sat under a tree enjoying the cold ice cream along with the warm evening breeze . We were sitting shoulder to shoulder commenting on ours surroundings.

After some time spending eating ice-cream and talking with each other Oliver suddenly asked " is this your first time to date someone " ." of course, what about you " I finally couldn't help asking the question I pondered upon for the whole day. "mine as well " was his reply. I really felt that this is a lie. In my opinion , a handsome guy like Oliver must have had atleast one girlfriend. So I pestered Oliver the next 5 minutes asking "really? really? " and to all my questions he just kept saying "yes" . After some time I found it boring so I kept quiet. Oliver leaned against me and asked me " why do you keep asking " . Probably because he was too near and I became too nervous and blurted out my truest thoughts " because you are very handsome " and speaking it out I felt an high level embarrassment . Seeing my embarrassment, Oliver deliberately leaned more closer and asked " really~ " . Even though I first felt a little embarrassed after he asked again I did not feel that awkward any more and said " yes " after all he is really handsome. I didn't know what Oliver thought he suddenly leaned forward and kissed my cheek. I felt my self blushing like a tomato because even though I have many boys as friends as a person who single dog all her life this is my first time to have this type of intimacy to the opposite gender. So my quickest refex was to make the distance between us bigger and glaring at him saying " no kisses allowed " Oliver smiled at me with a bit of teasing and said " okay~" . I didn't know if I was too dazzled by the kiss I saw a trace of helplessness and indulgence in his eyes. I thought to myself " it's just might be my imagination, after all how can someone look at others like that If they just met them that day " ( but she didn't know that he knew her long ago) .

This small awkward moment vanished when Oliver started changing the topic. We talked a lot again. When Oliver said something again " I have to tell you a secret ". The word secret piqued my interest a lot and I readily asked " tell me, tell me"

Oliver started talking seeming hesitant " I -- "

loud sounds of gunshots along with the screaming of people began echoing in the artificial forest.

I asked " What going on " trying hard to ignore sense of panic spreading in me. Oliver frowned and replied " it looks like a terrorist attack " . Even though I had a hunch after confirming my thoughts were true I could not but trembling. Oliver noticed that I am scared and nervous ,said " come let's hide somewhere ". Not knowing what to do in such a situation we thought that hiding was the best solution. "I think I know a nice hiding spot " I remembered the place where I used to hide when I played in the artificial forest when I was younger . " then let's go there " Oliver said while looking at me. I also looked at him and nodded. Plucking up all my courage, I took Oliver's hand ran towards the hiding place. It about 3 min to reach there. To our luck the terrorist were yet to come to the place where we where . The hiding spot looks like a small cave in which at most two people can fit. Oliver hugged me into his arms and kept comforting me. I was so scared at the thought that if I get caught I can probably die. Suddenly the sound of phone ringing broke the tense atmosphere. I picked my phone and looked at it. " it's Daniel " . Oliver whispered " take it and ask there location ,if they are safe and silence your phone ,I will send our location to the police then I will silence mine as well " . His voice was especially calm which caused me to calm as well. I picked the phone and asked " Daniel where are you guys ,are you safe" . Daniel replied " Sasha was having a stomach pain so we returned earlier , I just saw the news are you guys safe " the nervousness in his voice couldn't hide. " we are safe we are hiding in our secret hide spot in the artificial forest, please inform my parents and others that I am safe "I replied. Daniel hung up after saying ok. I , first silenced my phone and then looked upto Oliver and asked " are you done " . Oliver just hugged me tighter and said " yes they we will be here soon don't be afraid " . All I could reply was an "ok"

Soon, the Terrorist took control of the location we were as well. Luckily, the cave has a thick bush in front it that covered us and from the outsiders perspective it looks like a huge rock along with a bush. So we were safe for a while. We were unable to see the outside world and the cave was slightly dark because it was evening and the bush blocking the outside light. We could her the footsteps of the terrorists and they were talking among themselves " are all the people taken ", another one replying " yes " ,the first man saying " you go check the other directions I will sit here for a while " then we're footsteps going away and a sound came from above the cave . We assumed that the terrorist was sitting on the cave since he thought that this was a just a huge rock. I felt much more tense, it felt like we could be discovered any minute . Oliver did not speak anything as well he just hugged me that I was fully in his arms ; I could hear his steady heart beat; he kept patting me in my back as a sign of comfort. Hearing his heartbeat, feeling his warm hands surrounding me, I feel a sign of relief and calmness which I longed for this moment. We stayed like that for an hour. The time in the cave felt like it has ages . Without Oliver giving me a sense of security I am afraid I would have collapsed. Suddenly the terrorist started shouting in pain but the sound was quickly ceased. I felt puzzled and looked at Oliver . His calm face had a trace of joy and seeing me look at him. He whispered to me " looks like the rescue team came " . I felt relieved . Very soon we heard someone shouting " kids you can come out you guys are safe we are from the army ". From their tone, they probably did not know where we are . Oliver and I looked at each other. Oliver just nodded and said " let's go " with a faint smile. Both of us crawled out of the cave and saw about 5 men in an army suit searching the surroundings. When we fully got out, Oliver shouted " we are here " successful attracting the 5 soilders . One of the came towards us " it turned out that you were hiding here, it's safe now The terrorists were caught , come on I will take you guys out of here so that you can find your parents " . After hearing these words we felt like all our worries vanished. Then under the guidance of that solider we went out of the entrance to the artificial forest.

Soon after we came to the entrance, I saw my parents searching here and there. Seeing my parents again, I felt a sense of happiness . I looked at Oliver again feeling a little embarrassed " uhm my parents are here " . He lowered his head and said " you go to them I will wait for you here " . After getting his reply, I said " wait here I will be back " and ran towards my parents. When I ran towards them they also saw me. We hugged each I kept comforting my parents that I am fine while they were checking me if I was injured with a distressed face. After successfully comforting them, I turned around thinking that Oliver will be standing there with a smile. But I was puzzled because there was no one behind me. I just thought that he went to his parents just like me and ignored the fact that he was missing

BUT I WAS WRONG

With the hope that I will see him again I waited... and here I am... In the same place as 5 years ago... I always felt like he is my soul mate, my guardian, who was supposed to save me that day. " Liar, you didn't wait for me " a tear slipped my eyes while I sat there, hugging my knees , looking at setting sun into the sea......

*Oliver's pov*

It's been 5 years after our first official meet, Amelia, she is still waiting for me I am someone who has no right to love knowing that I only have 5 years left to live I shouldn't have approached her that day

In the silent evening accompanied by the sound of waves, one of them waiting for her beloved to return while the other just watching her from a distance trying to imprint her face into his memory in his last moments of life after a few minutes, a low male voice broke the silence "forgive me ".....
