Chief Tui (Moana stuff)

This is my hypotheses that Chief Tui, Moana's dad is a murderer. If you have seen the movie then you know that his friend died when they tried to leave the island. I belive that Tui actually killed him. I believe that Tui was actually jealous of his friend and Moana's mother Sina because they were actually having something going on between them. I believe Tui is just say that his friend fell off, and actually he pushed him off. Because he himself said noone knew and that noone can leave the reef because they might find his body. And you know Moana also fell off her boat, got her foot stuck, and was deep as well. However she was able to take it off and free herself. And being how Disney movies are the males are stronger. So how could a man who seems older or the same age as moana, with quite a sturdy build not get back up. Or if he was drowning because he was too heavy to swim up that might be why. But I don't think that the duo would have been able to pass Moana in the distance from the reef. And so I don't think it would be too shallow. That is why I believe that Chief Tui is actually a murderer who killed his best friend of a lady. Then you might be wondering why would Sina marry Tui if she liked his friend. She married him because since the friend died she had to marry someone. And the people there are very persistent like an example is when Tui kept and kept on trying to make Moana Chief. She was probably forced or it was like "even though I can't be with you I will be with the guy you were close with, and that we will stay safe" But what I am personally confused of how in the world was she able to forgive Tui after doing such a dumb thing without suspecting anything. She should be smart enough to know that what happened was suspicious. I wonder if he (Tui) forced her to get married and would do something if she were to spill. Then it also doesn't feel right that they didn't even go to get his body. Like yes, to get his body is a very dangerous task but why would it matter when it's one of their fellow tribesmen. Like were is the honor, the loyalty the kinship, where is the honesty. I wonder if his(Tui)'s friend was of a lower rank than him and that is why they didn't look too into it. Like Tui said to Moana that the tribes Chief are from the same line for generations now. This makes me suspect that with the power that Tui held that he kept the people shut of what happened. And the grandma actually wanted to be free not just from life and restrictions but from the lies that has been told in the village and how she helped hide what had happened.

Or if Tui wasn't actually jealous of him that he and Sina were together but that he actually found the boats and which made Tui extremely angry. Because Tui just doesn't want to leave the island and actually had a plan for the village. And actually everyone was in it. But it showed that there was a new generation which would be why they were ok with exploring. Because the new generation is taking over and that they are partially learning from their mistakes. (gen z be like...) Maybe that was the goal that Disney wanted to achieve as what the movie actually 'means'. And with this hypotheses there could be that the friend had no relationship with Sina, or it could be that they were still in love or that Sina has a baby with him. If it is one of last two then the reason the grandma kept on persuading Moana was because that she felt bD and wanted Moana to have atleats some sort of connection toward her father. This is my theory.

I have been keeping this to myself for a while now so it is great that I was finally able to talk about my theories of Moana. I hope everything made at least some sense if something doesn't make sence then you can always ask in the comments. And this is kind of how I will be telling my short stories /hypotheses/theories.
