Episode 1: introduction

‘Tomorrow is the I get to see my mom again, the day we will be able to sit at the table as a family we’ll only because mom couldn’t come when my brother actually turned 8’ this is rain she lives with her brother kai, bird dude whos 1-3, and her father. her parents divorced but their mother still try’s to show up on birthdays but she is married to her work right now it’s just rain and her brother at him, since there father is at a bar at this hour which is when both kids SHOULD be asleep but one is still awake, rain has to take care of a lot of things.. she has to cook every meal, clean the house, take care of the father when he’s drunk.. which is mostly all the time, she has school, take care of her brother and make sure he gets to school and everything he needs. A girl who is 15 who hasn’t slept a wink tossing and turning trying to sleep but sleep wasn’t an option right now, after a few more toss and turns she was finally able to rest her eyes and drift into sleep… /SQUAWK SQUAWK\ “mhmm noooo! 😣 five more minutes!!!! “ rain put a pillow on her head and tossed over to her side thinking the bird would go back to sleep well she thought wrong………— / SQUAWK SQUAWK. “ahhhh… FINE IM COMING, IM COMING” rain got up, put her flip flops on and walked into the hallway lazily and making it into the kitchen to get dudes food because she knows he gets hungry at night time, she put dudes food on the table ‘hmm i should make kai something to eat as well’ so about 5-10 minutes later she has made 1 peanut butter & jelly sandwich, and a chocolate sandwich. She walked into the hallway facing kai’s door *knock knock* “hey kai.. I made you some breakfast…. KAiii!! Wake up!”…. ‘ I AM TO TIRED FOR THIS 😤’ she kicked the door not waiting for her brother to unlock the door, ‘ h- he was asleep during all that noise!??!! 😮’rain was really impressed that he could sleep through that loud noise not even she could do that and they both sleep hard as a rock, “ kai wake up” he still sleep but tosses over to one side “ hmp fine wanna be like that? 🙄” she March into the hallway leading straight into the kitchen to grab pot and Pan then March back into kai’s room. / squawk squawk\ she got into formation and started hitting the pot and Pan against each other /squawk squawk\ “ huh-uh-ah oof” he had fallen on the floor from being startled “ why you do that??😣😔” kai asked while rubbing his eyes “ because you wouldn’t wake up” /squawk squawk\ “ I wanna go back to bed” rain could not believe he is still is gonna go back to sleep even though he hears the bird “ if you don’t come and eat, I will eat your food so you will have to make you sandwich yourself 😌” , kai got up and ran fast to the kitchen “ … PFT- now i know what it takes to get him out of bed easier now 😂” walked out his room, walked to the table to get dudes food then headed towards the room he’s in, two bites into the sandwich and- / squawk squawk\ “ alright… kai ima need your help so I can put is food in the cage” kai put his food down and got up from the chair then started walking to dude’s ✨sleeping chambers✨ “ *sigh* alright 😒 but you owe me a sandwich if a fly lands on it” kai let dude out the crate for birds as soon as he does dude flys out fast spinning in circles / squawk squawk!!!\ the two siblings were confused on why he was acting strange “ dude come down!!” It was no use trying to call him down “ uh.. rain? Why does the floor feel different??” Rain had a confused look on her face until she looked down in horror “ I don’t know what it is kai bu-“ before she could Finnish her sentence they both fell in the portal and it sucked in the bird as well. “ AHHHHH” the two were screaming while dude was making scared bird noises. Dude gripped on rain’s arm with his feet “ rain.. I’m scared” the boy said sounding like on the verge of crying “ it’s alright kai we’ll be fine just grab my hand” but rain didn’t know if they would be alright or not, she was just as afraid as kai but it’s up to her as the oldest to not be scared “ h-hey rain… I see a light!!” Rain was shocked that anything could be seen in here it was hard see her brother and the bird “ I see it as well!!” They were floating towards it hoping it would lead to something good then… * *bonk* *
