"D-duchess.."

Kate the maid knocking the door. Although the Duke and Duchess in process of divorce, she is still her master today. Until then, she still have to respect her master privacy and do her work diligently.

She not answering. Is Madam okay?

Kate knocking the door again.

"Duchess.. its me, your maid. May I come in?"

Sweat pour like rain at Kate head. Afraid of her master temperament. Maybe she will be beaten to death by her master for knocking repeatly.

But she have no choice. Its her duty to attend her master.

Waiting in silent make it more restless.

The duchess still laying in sofa with her eyes half open. Glaring at her. Kate heart stop beating for a while. Back to her conscious, she manage to speak.

"M-madam...I-i w-will draw your bath.." Kate stuttering, bowing 180° degree. Not waiting for the answer she quickly ran her feet to the duchess private bathroom.

That was so intense. Her heart beat fast. The Duchess laying at the sofa with her messy long curly shiny black hair, half open eye lid, glimmering green eyes like jewels.. while glaring at her.. make the duchess look like a fallen night angel.

It was beautiful yet sad picture. Not matching with her bad temper.

Kate quickly do her job while thinking how good it will be if the duchess, her master were kind, generous and smile a litle bit. A small sigh out of her mouth.

Ack! Kate stumble to the floor. Shock and frighten write on all over her face.

" Do you have any food?"

...what? Food? Oh no.. she must be hungry! Foolish me! I forgot to ask her about dinner.

"Y-yes M-madam..I will prepare your dinner immediately"

The duchess tilt her head a litle but it make Kate more nervous and ran her feet quickly out of the room.

Someone knocking the door.

..the door? nobody ever knocking to my bedroom before.

Unconsciously, I let the person who knocking the door to enter the room.

A girl in foreign maid uniform. I try to get up but the girl quickly bow her head and saying she will draw my bath with stuttering voice. Then quickly she flew away to the next room.

I glance to the room where the girl dissapearing to. why.. she look scared.

My stomach grumbling. For real? really..

If this a dream.. it was to detail! the sound of grumbling and the feel of hungry is real!

The girl stuttering again while answer my question. She then ran pass me out of the room.

Well I quest.. I should wait at the sofa then.

The sound of my stomach grumbling hit my sense first.
