Chapter 1 New Start

Have you ever been told to live life without regrets?

Or to not dwell into the past too much?

I had many times and made many mistake

If I could just go back to day I was born or back in middle school

I would've done better and be better

Even as I'm bleeding losing alot of blood as sound of gunfire and explosions is muffled

I still find myself thinking about the past.....

Man this life sucked more balls then a average chick with her boyfriend in netflix night....****....

As the end starts to come and I close my eyes for last few times thinking about and only my past 

Everything suddenly came to a halt, everything is dark and silent?

Is this what it is to die? No heaven or hell?

Well I can at least rest now I guess...

(Muffled noises start to be heard and slowly start to be understandable)

BRRIIING BRIIIIING sound of an alarm clock going off loudly and a room come into my view. Finding myself laying down on a bed that seem familiar.

Derek- what is this, wait this room it can't be… there no way it's my old room years ago!

Turned off the alarm clock as I get off the bed I was laying on, looking around my room and seeing everything was the same as it was years ago.

In a state of shock and confusion looking at the calendar it has the date I was supposed to go to my first day of middle school. 

Derek-Was it all a dream? Just a terrible nightmare? NO! It can't be a nightmare, it's all too real….

But how can this happen? I surely died there..

Biting my nails as I try to think of what happened

Sounds of someone coming starts to get closer and closer until the door opens up revealing someone 

Derek- MOM!!!

Tears start to overwhelm me with my already weak legs barely able to support me until I fell to my knees crying nonstop

Mom- Derek what's wrong wrong are you ok?!

Runs up to me and wraps me around her warn arms like a blanket while I let out all my soft weak words 

Derek- I'm okay I just had a long scary nightmare…

So this really is real and I was given a second chance to redo it all...I'm so happy…

Smile appears on me as if I won the lottery. I won something even better than that can't ever compare to it.

2 days later

Everything is just as it was before and I'm the only one here who knows the future to come

I need to do 5 things before 2 months pass by and the real hunt begins

List of 5 goals is written on piece of paper I wrote with the following

Train my body 

Find Lucas and protect at all cost

Gain money 

Beat zeke and his gang 

Make new trustworthy friends and connections

Derek- now then should I. Start my second chance and become successful this time around!

Huge grins appears on my face while the students and the teacher looks at me like I'm a lunatic 

2 hours later

Cafeteria is filled with people eating and talking sitting at the corner waiting for someone was me with worried look on my face

Derek- does he not come to lunch and sit down to the table in front of me at this time I can't remember. We were supposed to meet in our second year though.

Felt a hand touch my shoulder and grip was bit tight, turning my head to face the guy that touched me.

??- Hey there man, who are you waiting for? A friend? You know since I'm a year older then you I can show you around the place and how it works.

The guy had a face that was obviously planning to betray me and beat my *** up somewhere secluded like a thug.

Derek- I don't need your help man but thanks anywa-

His grips tighten forcefully and he start to get mad

??- Hey now don't you have some money I can borrow? I'm a bit short handed on it right now. You should at least be kind to someone right?

Eyes filled with rage and hatred as he looks down on me

I smiled and scoff at him

Derek- You're nothing to me I have seen worse than this you bitch.

Grabbing his hand and forcefully hold on to it tight with all my might

??- WHAT THE HELL!!?? HOW ARE YOU THIS FUCKING STRONG YOU SKINNY ASSHOLE!?

Derek- **** off and never bother me if you want to live and keep your limbs intact 

??- Fu-

This kid's eyes are not normal, had he killed people before!?!? Shit I can't lose here with everyone staring at us ****!

??- fine I will leave you alone then let my hand go I can't feel it anymore!

I let go of his hand and he starts to leave with angry look at his face like he will come back for revenge 

Derek- well this time was wasted lunch is already gonna end now at this rate and a random asshole came up to. Could've at least put up a good show.

I get up from where I'm sitting at and start to go outside to look around 

Who was that guy anyways? I could have sworn I had seen him before somewhere.

THUD THUD

I look at the directions of where the noise is coming from and see group of people around a person

IT'S LUKAS!! I FOUND HIM!

Ran passed all the people around the area to get there and pushed one of the people surrounding Lukas to the side as I grabbed his hand. 

Extra 1- HEY WHAT DO YOU THINK YOUR DOIN-

Grabbed his head and slammed it to the wall as I carry Lukas put on my back

Lukas began to move a bit and says in a weak voice 

Lukas-........ who are you?....

Thinking on what to say I randomly said on the spot with a smile 

Derek- your new ride or die partner what about you kiddo

Lukas- hah thank you…

Spent around 5 minutes running away from the group until we managed to get inside and go to the nurse office

Face looks like he's been in a fight and dirty clothing from being in fights this man… still has some balls to fight a group as he always did huh.

Some time later

Nurse- Thank you for getting him here all by yourself he should be fine with rest

Derek- thank you for helping him mam now imma have to go to class

Open the door and started to walk away as until Lukas gets up and grab my shoulder

Lukas- thank you for helping me there man what's your name?

I stare back at him and said

Derek- my name is Derek better not forget it 

Lukas- Oh I won't I have a feeling we will be good friends for years to come

We both smile at each other and I start to head off to class

I finally got to see him again all these years.. glad it was before it all happened

Before the year we went to highschool he was caught up In a fight with Zeke and his gang. Ending up being hospitalized and forced to live life as a crippled while Zeke got off free thanks to his father.

I won't forgive you Zeke I will beat your fucking *** when I get the chance to see you!

Anger and hatred start to come into my thoughts and now I have 1 of the 5 things from my list.

Derek- Time for me to get serious starting now!
