chapter one

 prologue

Diana and her family were having a picnic. They taught they should stay more outside so they went in the woods nearby.

Diana was an only child, all she had was her parents. Suddenly her father was missing so she went out to search for him. Little did she know the search will change her life completely.

Diana's point of view

I was out in the woods looking for my dad when I saw him talking to a man. They then started shouting at each other but I couldn't hear anything tho. I stood there completely frozen, having 100 questions.

Out of nowhere, I heard a horrible sound... It was like cracking bones and sent shivers down my spine.

As I blinked the man was no longer there... instead there was a wolf, no a bear! Wait! It was a big wolf like the size of a bear and instead of helping my father I just froze. In a second the wolf-bear threw himself at my dad's neck killing him without a hint of hesitation.

Tears run down my face and I felt like my heart stopped and a wave of pain went through me. I wanted to scream so loud my lungs will cry. I made a step back and clumsy me stepped on something. I didn't even know what it was, I couldn't see because of my puffy eyes and my tears. I only know it made a noise.

The beast somehow heard it and turned to me. I stood still because I knew he can't spot me. My surprise was when he vanished, just like that. I whispered "Murderer" even tho I wanted to come out as a scream. I turned so I wouldn't see the body and in an instant I saw HIM. The man my father was arguing with. I almost chocked because I couldn't understand.

Where was the wolf? Why was he here? Why my father was DEAD???!!!!

He looked at me like I had 3 heads and sighed:

"I wish you wouldn't see that.."

"WHERE WERE YOU WHEN MY FATHER WAS KILLED BY A GODDAMN WOLF-BEAR? WHY DID YOU COME BACK NOW ??!" Hearing myself saying that made me shiver. I understood, but I wasn't sure if I got it right.. "You were the wolf..."

He nodded the tinniest but he did and then I let myself go

" I WILL MURDER YOU YOU SON OF A BITCH HOW DARE TURN INTO A FREAKING WOLF-BEAR YOU MONSTER! WHAT ARE YOU YOU, MURDERER!!"

This time I shouted and I hurt my own ears I just couldn't believe it. This was not happening this is not real!

"I am sorry you had to be here now I have to kill you too," He said that so easily it freaked me out really.

"WELL I AM GOI-" I felt light-headed and in an instant, I collapsed, hitting the ground and everything went black...
