The unknown woman

It was late 9:15 am in the morning. Jack Daniel was sleeping in his bedroom. The snoring sound was quite louder than usual. "Tring, Tring", the phone rang. Jack woke up. He had a blurred vision. He searched for the phone from his bed. It was next to the bed on a table. He attended the call. It was his girlfriend Amy Sarah on the phone.

"Hey, what are you doing, are you awake? asked Sarah. "Yeah, just now. What's the matter?" he asked. "There's no big deal. I'm coming to your home. I hope to go shopping with you. I'll reach there in 15 mins, be ready babe", said Sarah. "Okay baby, I'll be ready in a few minutes"

Jack got up from the bed, took his phone and was scrolling the news feed on instagram. Suddenly, he heard an unusual sound from his bedroom. It was so close, maybe right next to him. He heard the sound of someone snoring. He peeped next to him and there was no one. But still, the sound still came. He looked down on the other side of the bed and was shocked to see a woman sleeping on the floor. " ****, who the hell is this woman, how did she come here". He couldn't understand how this woman entered his home.

"Hello mam, wake up" said Jack. The woman got up. "Oh shit, what the hell" said Jack. The woman was standing ***** in front of him. He just couldn't remember what happened in the last 12 hours. The only thing he can remember is that he went to the bar. He apologized to the woman and was scared that he had behaved in the wrong way to her. The woman wore her dress and asked for a date with him. "What the hell, are you joking? " asked Jack. Then the woman said that he was the one who confessed that she was the beautiful woman in the world and he would marry her if he got a chance to. Jack slapped his face to see whether it was just a dream. But the pain said that it's not a dream, it's real. He asked her to leave as his girlfriend was approaching. The woman got angry as she thought he was pretending as if he didn't know anything. But the truth is he doesn't know anything. All he could remember was that he went to a bar to drink.

The woman had a doubt whether he was acting or really he forgot everything. "Do you really forget everything that happened last night?" asked the woman. Hearing this, Jack was very scared. He understood something bad had happened last night. "No seriously, I don't, I swear. " "I don't even know your name!" said Jack. The woman then explained what happened last night.

What actually happened last night was that the woman was walking on a lonely road next to the bar where Jack went. A few rowdies were following her. They blocked her way and harassed her in public. By the time, Jack bought a few beer bottles and got into his car. While returning home, he saw the woman being harassed by the rowdies. He parked his car, and got out. "Hello people, what's going on?" asked Jack. One of the rowdies said, " Look at this pitiful guy, I'll pay you$, get the amount and leave. The woman was so pitiful in the eyes of Jack, so he decided to help her. "I'll pay you$, get it from me and leave her, I'd not..... " said Jack. "If not what? " asked the gang leader. " If not I have to pay the hospital fee for you" said Jack. " Haha, look at this kid, he's threatening me", and the whole gang laughed. Jack made a weird laugh. He chased those rowdies and hit them brutally.

The woman was thankful that he helped her and asked him to do a favor. Her house was too long and she was scared to go alone at night. "Should I drop you at home? " asked Jack. "No thanks, but can I......? "the woman hesitated. "Yeah tell, what's it? " asked Jack. "Can I stay at your home?" asked the woman. The woman looked pitiful in the eyes of Jack. And he also found that she didn't ask that with the wrong intention. So he took her home. Hearing the flashback, Jack was surprised. It was unbelievable for him. He could slowly remember everything. While coming home, he drank a lot of alcohol he couldn't remember.

"Ding dong" the bell rang. "Knock, knock ". Jack was shocked to hear the sound of knocking on the door. It was his girlfriend Sarah waiting outside for him. Suddenly, all the breakup dreams started popping on his mind. He was scared that if she saw the woman then for sure it would end up on breakup. "Ding dong, Ding dong". He was so confused about what to do next. He was hesitating to take the next step. On the one hand, he was confused and on the other side he was scared.
