Episode 4 A Happy Family

- 15 years earlier-

Kook: Appa look I caught a dragonfly!

Kook's Dad: Aigooo you like dragonfly that much?

Kook: mm*nod*my teacher said that dragonfly appa is a dragon and beats up all the bad guys who hurt dragonfly! Appa are you my dragon? (0o0)

Kook's Dad: Oh is that so? Hmm, let me see we're not exactly dragonfly breeds but I can tell you that I will protect you like a dragon does it to his kids.

Kook: For real! Appa you're the best appa ever! But appa when I grow up I'm going to be very strong and protect you and eoma!

Kook's Dad: *touched* yeobo come here! our son is already grown up. He says that he is going to protect me in the future! (TT-TT)

Kook's mom: Honey! how could you lie! he said he is going to protect both of us! Ahh, kook here open your mouth.

Kook: No! I don't want to eat. (>_<)

Kook's Dad: Kooka you need to eat if you don't then how can you grow up fast and get strong to protect us.

Kook: Hmm fine! I am only going to eat for you! and I'm going to fulfill my promise to protect you guys!

Both Kook's Dad and mom: Aigooo our baby really is the cutest baby in the world!

*both hug kook*

Kook: Appa,eoma! you're suffocating me

Kook's Dad: Ah Sorry!, but kooka today is September 1 do you remember what today is?

*Both of them give Kook a huge smile*

Kook: *Thinking thinking* Ahh today is my birthdayyyy!!

Kook's mom: You're 7 years old today, Happy birthday my baby, I hope you get all the happiness in the world. So where should we go today for your birthday?

Kook: Amusement park! Amusement park!

Kook's Dad: MM we're gonna go there today, but first, you need to open up your present.

*Kook's parents look at each other and smile\, they both go inside and bring a box wrapped in a golden wrapper*

Kook's parents: Happy birthday Kooka! *give the gift to kook*

Kooka: *very happy**Opens the present and finds a Dragon figurine* Appa\, Eoma! Gomawo!(thank you in Korean)

*Kook gives both of his parents a big hug*

Kook's dad: OH its already 11 am! we need to hurry let's go!

All of them go to the amusement park and celebrate kook's birthday. The smile on Kook is wide as the moon as he thinks he is the happiest person right now. The time he spends with his parents is timeless.

*All of them get in the car*

Kook's dad: Kooka did you enjoy your birthday?

Kook:*nods vigorously* It was sooo much fun! Thank you appa\, eoma! ahh my dragon fell*reaches down to get his dragon

Kook's mom: Kooka!!

*CRASH**A truck hits kook's car flipping it over at the edge of the road*

Kook is speechless as his blood is dripping from his forehead. with his blurry he sees two bloody hands reaching out to him, he hears a faint sound"Kooka! Kooka!" he is desperate to grab those hands, but as his conciseness is holding him back, he cannot do anything, his tears start falling down his cheeks as he knows who those hands belong to.

Nurse: Ohh Doctor! Doctor! the patient is awake!

Kook: *slowly opening his eyes*

Doctor: *check his breathing* he's out of the danger. Poor kid lost his parents at such a young age

Kook: *Holds the doctor arm* Where am I? Where am I? Where are Eoma and Appa? Ahhh why does my head hurt?!

Jeong Han(kook's uncle): Kooka\,*looks at him with teary eyes* doctor is he alright?

Doctor: yes\, for now\, he's out of danger but he needs to stay for a week for an additional test. I'm very sorry about what happened.*Pats kook and leaves*

Kook: what does he mean?! where are my parents! Eoma appa! Tell me they are waiting for me outside!

Kook's eyes are filled with tears, his body is trembling his cheeks are burning as he asks his uncle with desperation to just tell him where his parents are

Jeong Han: Kooka....I'm sorry I don't know how to tell you this but...

Kook: Haha you must be joking right?! there's no way! there is no way they would leave me alone like this there's no way! I still have to keep my promise!! tell me! tell me you're lying tell me!!

Jeong Han: *crying* I'm sorry kooka\, I'm sorry *Hugs kooka*

Kook: Appa\, eoma how could you... how could you leave me like this....*wailing* please come back! come back!

The cries and desperation of Kook breaks Jeong Han's heart as he sees this little boy in front of him injured and hopeless asking for his parents to come back.  It breaks his heart that a kid this young has lost most precious people that make up his entire world. He cannot contain this sadness as he hugs Kook.

Jeong Han: Kooka don't cry\, your dad and my sister are watching us from God's home. They will always be here with us... Here\, I found this *gives him the Dragon figurine*

Kook:*Hugs it tightly\, turns to Jeong Han with teary eyes* Uncle they will always be with us right?

Jeong Han: mm*Hugs kook* they will always be with us...
