When the HR personnel in charge of the interview saw Aira, they were suddenly stunned. She even saw the staff gaze hovered quickly and seemed reluctant to let her in into the waiting area. She already knew why. Obviously, she cheated on one of the most important requirements of the job - AGE.

To be shortlisted for the position of executive secretary of the CEO of the Alfonso Empire, the applicant must be forty-five years of age or older and married. She is neither of the two. But she's desperately in need of a job and she knows that based on her work experience and education, she will have something to throw out. So it's up to her luck now. She laugh at what she done. Maybe Mr. Alfonso will appreciate her determination.

When Aira looked around, she saw that almost everyone waiting looked like a matron. Others are like grandmothers. Are they still within the age limit? What she knew is age sixty and above or senior citizens are already retired

"Miss Airaella Samantiago," the HR personnel called. She raised her hand together.

"Your next. Please follow me," she told her.

She slung the shoulder bag over her shoulder and quickly followed the woman. Her knees were shaking a little with nervousness. The ambience of the room is indimidating . The waiting area look likes the lobby of a five-star hotel.

"Sir Vlad, the next applicant is here," she heard the woman say to the man who is standing while facing the glass wall. He sat on the top of the steel desk while talking to whoever was on the other line. Just watching his back she suddenly felt nervous.

Aira immediately noticed that the man's shoulders were broad and based on the voice as she listened to him talking on the phone, their ages didn't seem to be separating. If she was twenty -five, it was probably only a few years he is older than her.

The man did not say goodbye immediately.

He did not seem to heard the HR personel. She became even more nervous. The longer she waits, the more nervous she becomes. Even though the room's air condition is strong, she was already sweating. To relax, she just looked around the room. Seriously, the size. I think the floor area is even bigger than our house in the province. She saw a painting of Amorsolo on the wall. Even though she wasn’t an art enthusiast, she knew it cost a few thousand dollars.

She is trembling with nervousness she suddenly feels weak. So without his permission, she slowly sat in the only chair in this room aside from his chair. "Did I tell you to sit?" She was shocked so she stood up immediately. She even dropped the folders she was holding. Her spare resume and cover letter were scattered on the floor. She pick it up and stood up straight again.

Her heart is beating rapidly. And Any moment it will explode with the intensity of nervousness.

After a while, the man simply threw away the folder containing her resume and cover letter and then turned around on the desk and sat down in his executive chair. Aira was so scared to say something. She was hesitant to take it or just leave it there. Because of so much nervousness, she could not even move. She looked at the scattered paper on the floor and at the man who did that.

When their eyesight meet, she saw how cold his eyes are. Even without speaking, she knew he is angry. And she knows why. He didn’t like what she did.

"S-Sir, uhm-- the r-reason w-why--," she stammered. Not knowing how to start.

"Do you really think you can get away with this?" It was a cold question.She bowed her head. After all, it was her fault.

When she submitted the application form online and was asked before she submitted if she passed the two basic requirements before applying, she clicked on both the boxes of at least 45 years old and married.

"I - I just clicked on those boxes because - because I couldn't - culdn't get anywhere if I don't. But, I've read the - the other -the other qualifications and I - I know - I know I am qualified for the position, "she replied in a nervous voice.

"Yeah. Without those two, you can't get anywhere," the man snapped, emphasising on anywhere. "You know, why did you waste more time to come here and waste my time?"

"Sir, I'm just taking a chance because -"

"Out!" the man shouted her and pointed the door. She never even finished what she wanna say. She felt upset. But she did not say anything. She can't believe that the so -called CEO is so rude. She tried to stand straight. She really wanna get get this job.

"Sir, won't you try me first? Aren't you intrigued why I did this? This simply shows I'm determined to get this job. I have determination and perseverance. Isn't that a plus factor in a job ? "

"Miss Samantiago, much as I appreciate determination and perseverance, I give more value to honesty and integrity.The mere fact that you submitted wrong information about yourself just to get this interview speaks a lot about your character. I hate dishonest people. So before I call the guards to escort you out, go! " The man's voice echoed throughout the room. "I'm sorry with Sir Vlad," the woman said gently.

"He had a bad experience with young secretaries. Most of them fell hopelessly in love with him that they focused more on seducing him than on their actual job. Someone even tried to commit suicide when Sir Vlad refused. So I can't blame him when his this angry with you. "

"Not all women are attracted to him. If he gave me a chance, rest assured, I wouldn't do anything like that. He isn't even my type! Besides, I already have a children. Why should I seduce him? I just badly need a job. "

The woman looked at her as if she was excited. She didn’t know where she was more excited. When she said she was not attracted to Mr. Alfonso or when she said that she already had children.

The woman smiled. "You're the first woman to say that," and she laughed slightly. "You said you already have children. So you're married? How old are you?

"I'm twenty five," she answered immediately. She did not answer the other question. She was hoping that the woman would not notice it.

"Twenty five? I actually thought you were just twenty or twenty-one. You look a lot younger for your age. How many children do you have?"

"Two. They're twins. They'll be four next month. And they'll be kinder next school year," she said proudly.

"Really? You're lucky. You have a twin. Identical or fraternal?"

"Identical. Two handsome boys." She said proudly.
