The faceless creatures

ST. Luciana, a boarding school which was only for girls, located on an isolated island where no one lives except for the students and the teachers. It is a famous and luxurious school and most of the students are from the rich and wealthy families.

Lia Rosewood, a commoner who was raised in an orphanage as her parents died when she was young. She was excepted in that school because of her good grades. That day she was sitting next to the window and was gazing towards the forest which looked dark even in the daylight.

When suddenly she heard a voice calling her from the forest, a voice that she has heard before.

Her curiosity increased, she wanted to know from where the voice was coming. A voice that was so familiar, but that curiosity of her was a big mistake.

One day when she was sleeping in her dormitory she heard the same voice that was calling her. She went out to the window to see who was calling her but she could see no one around anywhere. She decided that today she would find out from where and who was calling her. So she slowly opened the door and quietly stepped outside the room and started to walk towards the hallway with a flickering torchlight. After getting out of the dormitory she quickly followed the voice that lead her to the forest.

The forest looks very dense and dark. Winds were blowing making the atmosphere more creepy. The more she walked the more clearly she could hear the voice.

After walking for some minutes she came across a little girl who was sitting on a rock wearing the school uniform. She asked the girl what she was doing in the forest late at night. The girl did not replied. She asked again in an angry tone. But the girl still did not replied back. The girl remained silent with her hands hiding her face. Lia noticed that the girl was trembling as she was crying. She asked her what's the matter and why she was crying, but the girl kept sobbing.

It was like a nightmare when she looked up and showed her face to Lia.

The girl was faceless, a face with no eyes, no nose, no mouth or even eyebrows. Lia was terrified and had nothing to say. She turned quickly and ran as fast as she could. She had lost here way and was running randomly and that's when the batteries of the torchlight ran out. It was totally dark but she continued to run for her life.

Suddenly a lantern was swinging in the middle of the path and the school watchman was standing in front of her.

She said in a trembling voice, '𝙸 𝚜𝚊𝚠 𝚜𝚘𝚖𝚎𝚝𝚑𝚒𝚗𝚐 𝚟𝚎𝚛𝚢 𝚝𝚎𝚛𝚛𝚒𝚏𝚢𝚒𝚗𝚐.

𝙰 𝚐𝚒𝚛𝚕 𝚠𝚒𝚝𝚑 𝚗𝚘 𝚏𝚊𝚌𝚎, 𝚗𝚘 𝚎𝚢𝚎𝚜, 𝚗𝚘 𝚗𝚘𝚜𝚎, 𝚗𝚘 𝚖𝚘𝚞𝚝𝚑 𝚘𝚛 𝚎𝚟𝚎𝚗 𝚎𝚢𝚎𝚋𝚛𝚘𝚠𝚜'.

The watchman said, ' 𝚆𝚑𝚊𝚝 𝚊 𝚏𝚊𝚌𝚎𝚕𝚎𝚜𝚜 𝚐𝚒𝚛𝚕? '

' 𝙳𝚒𝚍 𝚜𝚑𝚎 𝚕𝚘𝚘𝚔𝚎𝚍 𝚕𝚒𝚔𝚎 𝚝𝚑𝚒𝚜? '

The watchman showed his face to Lia and what she could see was a faceless man standing in front of her. The watchman had no face either, just a plain round head.

Suddenly a strong winds blew the lantern's light and everything became dark. The only thing that could be heard was a fearful scream.

No one knows what happened to Lia that night and no one have ever seen those faceless creatures.
