The Beginning

I sat in my room ready to pack. It took hours but I finally finished. I was so happy to be finished packing that I jumped with joy. My mama came running into the room asking "what's happening." I said very happily "I finished packing." I said a little bit too loud. Mama she would shake her head. "So I gave birth to a child who is happy about packing when he's going to go to college." She'd reply. "Yes mama." I said putting my head down as if crying but not. "Oh come here" my mama said. When I walked over to her she hugged me. I stood there with her warm and then I said what about dinner. She says "oh no it's burning!" She ran down the stairs to put out the fire. Which I was amazed because I never see her run that fast. Hours later mama called me down for dinner. We'd eat quietly at dinner, because we both know that I was going to go to college. Mama finally broke the silence "instead I hope you do well at college." She gets up and grabs my plate and puts it in the in the dishwasher I look at her and said "I'm not finished yet Mama." She said "you have dessert to eat now. It's your favorite. chocolate cake with a drizzle of caramel. Especially made by your mother." I was like "but didn't you say that had to eat good food before I have dessert." She'd reply and said "yes but today is a different meal." After desert I went up the stairs, close the door, changed, and went to bed. To wake up the next morning knowing that my mama's going to cry. I waited an hour before I went down the stairs. I took the first bag down the stairs. Mama wasn't there. I went up and got another bag. Brought it down the stairs. All that was that was left was the backpack on my back. I walked into the kitchen and saw my mama sitting in a chair. She was looking at a stack of papers. I was getting emotional over the fact that I was going to college and never going to see my mom in a few years...again. "Mama" I said on a whisper. Mama turned around and spoke softly "come here my child." I King over and she hugged me tightly. Her warmth was everlasting and also made me cry. I cried a minutes past and and my mama help me through it. Once I was done crying I got out of my mom's crafts and said "I'm going to go to the airport. Bye mama. I'll see you in a few years." She'd say tears flowing down her face "I'll see you in a few years find my child" and finally the tears flood over and over again a puddle formed at the ground or she was crying. I didn't want to do this but I had to leave cuz I wanted to go to college and mama wanted me to go to. When I got to the airport my plane was delayed for 3 hours. I was so bored and happy and little sad. But but this was my future and I had to take it for granted. I took it in and I accepted my fate. I was to be a college student going to Legendary Writers University. Or L.W.U. I rode in the plane at last. I soccer looking out the window watching the take off of a New journey and a new life taking place. and then my eyes closed. I knew I was not asleep. We landed in the water.
