Every night, she Manifested herself as a floating head with her viscera hanging down from the neck, flying out of the window. The head was accompanied by will-o'-the-wisp kind of glow, which greatly surprised all the villagers. Whenever her children dropped off to a deep sleep, Grandma Sao always separated her head from the body and the head floated out of a worship room consisting of a nine-tier banana leaf ornament, incense, candles, tusk from wild boars, and skulls , whick looked frightening. One day on their way to home from the farm, her two children came across 4 or 5 villagers who were transplanting rice. An old lady among the villagers saw the children of Grandma Sao and said:
- Kids! Do you know anything about your mom?
- What's wrong, Aunt? (They replied together)
- Your mom is a witch!
- what is the witch ? ( the girl asked )
- At night, the witch separated her head with the hanging down viscera from the body, flying in search of eating mud, pus and blood , and afterbirth at the people's houses in the village. If you didn't believe me, you'll see it at 1 or 2 over the night, when roosters crowed at first. But you had to promise not to tell your mom that I had told you about this. If she was informed, she'll cast a spell on me. After so hearing, the two kids walked beyond the villagers in sad face. Grandma Sao's daughter consulted with her brother:
- To ight we'll have to spy on our mom to learn if what they said was the truth
- Sister! I've also taken some notice of her. Now she's got a scare around her neck and always sat uttering magic words at her shrine
- That's true, brother! Recently, I've invited her to go to the pagoda a few times, but she refused to go. Now, to see the truth, we shouldn't sleep tonight and when roosters crowed at first, we'll go to see at her room.
