I knew you

[in a physics class]

The teacher gets in, "good morning class, let me hope all of you did the assignment for the origin of Cosmic rays" He says.

As he walks checking some people's work he says," I have a story to tell you but listen care fully, it's about a boy called Jeremiah".

" I know it's a physics lesson, but it's not bad talking about him"

[in some place in ancient days]

"Mom I think I will be back" Jeremiah says to the mom.

" Where are you going?" the mother asks him.

" I don't know, but I think am just being moved by something" Jeremiah says.

Jeremiah moves and goes to a place which was so quiet and had no other person and in his mind he had no idea why he was there at that time, but he just moved and got to that place.

So, as all young people, Jeremiah sat down and started throwing stones because of boredom.

" I wish I could know the future, he said, but I don't think I can even do a thing" he said to himself.

" Jeremiah" a deep voice was heard.

[back in class]

" Wait a minute you said he was the only one in that place whose voice was that" Abraham said.

" Hey, keep quiet, and they finish the story before they start telling you that a proton in a cosmic ray has a speed close to that of light and still has the same mass" Enock silences Abraham.

[back to the story]

So Jeremiah got scared and stood up to start running because he knew he was the only one around and was afraid it would be a ghost.

" I knew you before I formed you in your mother's womb. Before you were born I set you apart and appointed you as my spokesman to the world." the voice said and Jeremiah stopped running.

He realized that the one talking to him was GOD him self.

" Oh sovereign Lord, I can't speak for you for I'm too young, " Jeremiah replied to the Lord.

" Don't say that, for you must go wherever I send you and say whatever I tell you. And don't be afraid of the people, for the Lord, have spoken!" The voice said.

[back to class]

" boring, i though the story was going to have some guns and stuff, just a stupid voice lying to the little boy" Gift says.

" Hey, watch your language" Doreen says to Gift.

" That voice wasn't just a voice, it was GOD the creator of the heavens and the Earth, and he was sending Jeremiah to go somewhere, but let every one get a message from that story, but now we are getting to the composition off the cosmic rays, the primary cosmic rays contain 86% of high energy protons and........" The teacher says, and the lesson continues to the end.

[ in the music room at recess time]

Enock is playing some nice melody on bass guitar while beatboxing, then Patricia gets in.

" You are good, why don't you join the scripture union club and be in the choir of people who play instruments in chapel" Patricia says.

" There many people who come for chapel and I don't think I can manage to play infront of those people?" Enock says to Patricia.

" You remember the story teacher told us?" Patricia asks.

" Yeah about, Jeremiah, he extracted it from the Bible, Jeremiah 1:4-8, I had read it before" Enock says.

" So you are not just good at Physics and chemistry alone, you also read the Bible, but did you get what it meant, GOD told Jeremiah not to be afraid of people." Patricia says.

" You are right, but then I freeze in front of people" Enock says.

" But you have many talents and I think you should use them, you are good at sciences, one of the best goalkeepers I know, write songs, write novels, play bass guitar and jazz drums, you can sing the best bass, you do programming and a good deal of other stuff in ICT, you can use those." Patricia says.

" But in all those talents you talked of, there is something I lack." Enock says.

Patricia gets a headache and almost falls but Enock gets her before she falls," Are you okay" Enock asks.

" Yes it's just something I didn't get, may be a dream" Patricia says.
