The background behind:-

Angus reaches home one day to find his sick mother dead. After this incident he meets a girl who he feels in love with. After sometime the behaviour of the girl changes and he finds the reason behind it which leaves him with a horrible situation.

Chapter 1

The bell rang. Everyone excitedly got up from their seats and packed their bags to leave for home. Angus, the famous guy who everyone loved, shouted, “hey! Does anyone wanna check out this noob?” Everyone's eyes stared at the direction of the cupboard. There lay a small kid aged thirteen curled up at the corner staring directly at everyone with his sad eyes which were behind his big glasses that made him look like a nerd. The classroom filled with big laughter, some were shouting “Look at this little shrimp!” “A nerdy One!” Someone added and they all laughed crazily. Angus then unzipped his bag and took a bottle of water out while unclosing the lid and pouring all the water at the small kid. The laughter of everyone grew bigger and minutes later they all left. The small kid held his knees tightly towards his chest and let out a sigh. He whispered “Don't cry, don't cry '' to himself as he failed to hold his tears back. Millions of memories came running like a movie in his mind making him realise that it was a mistake to join high school this early. He wept as he remembered his mothers word, “Bert, this world is cruel, only people who believe in themselves will survive.” As he remembered those words, he got up feeling inspired and wiped the tears off from his face. He made his way towards the hall where he saw nothing but emptiness. 10-20 minutes later he arrived at his house which was located on a deep street where only one street light was alive. He knocked on the door hoping to see his dad open up, but instead the door was opened. He found it very odd. He then called out for his father, but there was no answer. He then once again called it out and then he rushed towards his mothers room. There he saw his mother lying in a pool of blood. His eyes widened as he stood there frozen. He couldn't move, right after he heard the window opening. He moved his eyes towards the direction of the noise and saw a figure of a female. He looked at it but couldn't recognise it as it was dark and her face wasn't visible. The female figure then climbed out of the window and Bert stood there frozen. After minutes which felt like hours he managed to move himself and grabbed the telephone to dial the local police. After examining the body of his dead mother, the police couldn't tell who did it. The crime was done very carefully which didn't leave any signs. A week later he returned to his school to find everyone Being too nice and apologising to him.
