The Curse of the Silver Knife

Whilst investigating the death of a local doctor, a brave nurse called Casper Thornhill uncovers a legend about a supernaturally-cursed, silver knife circulating throughout New York. As soon as anyone uses the knife, he or she has exactly 32 days left to live.

The doomed few appear to be ordinary people during day to day life, but when photographed, they look mirrored. A marked person feels like a cold Wolf to touch.

Casper gets hold of the knife, refusing to believe the superstition. A collage of images flash into her mind: a bendy owl balancing on a hairy doctor, an old newspaper headline about an unfortunate accident, a hooded cat ranting about warts and a drinking well located in a creepy place.

When Casper notices her spots have Wolf-like properties, she realises that the curse of the silver knife is true and calls in her friend, a doctor called Joshua Barlow, to help.

Joshua examines the knife and willingly submits himself to the curse. He finds that the same visions flash before his eyes. He finds the bendy owl balancing on a hairy doctor particularly chilling. He joins the queue for a supernatural death.

Casper and Joshua pursue a quest to uncover the meaning of the visions, starting with a search for the hooded cat. Will they be able to stop the curse before their time is up?
