chapter 3

Oliver gave me all the information I wished for. She is 22 years old she owns a little apartment in London with her best friend. Her parents are divorced since she was 10. Abigail graduated. Samantha her friend changed her surname to Anderson because she lived in an abusive household and she got traumatised. Abigail had a boyfriend his name is Carlos but he cheated on her. Her father is abusive.

After me reading every little detail about her. The only thing we had in common was that both of our fathers were abusive to their wives.

I found it funny that Abigail and her friend would go out and have lots of fun and they would dance to kids songs. Or that the fact that they know each other for more than 10 years.

She loves to eat candy. Her boyfriend was nice to her only because he was creating on her with one of her friends .and that she never got touched by a man sexually. That made me happy but still nervous because of Sarah situation.

"What shall I do," I said to myself.

A knock is on my front door. I went to open it and I see Madeline. Madeline is one of my good fucker but she sometimes thinks we are more so that makes me want to kill her more.

"Hi, big guy are you angry?" She said as she started to strip off her clothes.

"I'm not in the mood," I said to her

She was only wearing her panties at the moment. She smiled at me but I didn't even look at her body only at her face. "I'm not in the mood," I said it was more because it made me think of Abigail face and body. She started to touch me swinging her hips from left to right. I shoved her off me and told her to get out because I'm not in the mood.

Abigail pov:

I should probably not judge a person because of how they look but that man looked dangerous even if he said his story he looked angry and cruel however let's just say he had his reasons.

Time passed with Sammy and I had nearly forgotten about the man. But Sammy reminded me with a "who the guy was?" I looked at her while I was next to her on the couch watching tv.

"He is a guy from my childhood," I said to her. Maybe she noticed that my face heated up from the lies or the embarrassment but it was obvious from the lie. She nodded to me and she looked away from me leaving me uncomfortable about the situation.

"I should probably tell you something," she said to me her blonde hair bounced when she turned to me. I and she faced to face but something was off about this.

I gave her a look that meant 'go on' and she sighed.

"Look, Abigail, you're a good girl and honest friend I know you since we were 10  and  I think I should stop lying to you about things," she said to me. The last time we had a serious talk was when she had stolen my food but I think this is a real talk.

I nodded to her to go on about what she wanted to say but my neck felt like someone was putting pressure on it.

"I think we should stop being friends," she said to me. I didn't know what to say but in my brain just popped the question 'why?'.

"Why don't you want to be friends anymore Samantha "  my voice didn't come shaky as I was thinking about but my eyes were nearly going to make a pool of water.

" I'm sorry but I have a boyfriend now and I love him he told me to choose between you and him and I chose him. He doesn't want you in our lives because you bring us bad habits and that you try to...split us up " after 5 seconds of realisation of what she said. My heart was banging out of my chest  I felt my world was falling apart.

"Ok, I-I guess you-you will stay at your boyfriend's apartment right?" My voice came shaky I know her since we were 10  we had been through ups and downs. She knows about my family. I know about her family. I even know her mums favourite flowers. I remember the day her mother and father came and gave me a big hug then said to me " I'm happy for you and my daughter I always treated you as my daughter I will continue to treat you like my daughter I respect you and love you " her mother said to me from that day I called them mum and dad.

"Yes I already packed my things I am leaving Paris and don't worry I won't be in your apartment anymore " she handed the second key to the apartment and then she left with her luggage.

I stood there like a dumb person to even think that we were friends I felt guilty. I guess friendships are not for me. I opened my phone to see myself blocked on every social media from her.

I looked in the mirror all memories were lies? Did she fake it? How dumb can you be? You thought you had a friend? Are you serious? What will you do? take it from level 1 again? I guess.

I was outside the cold air slightly heating my face. I found a little bench to sit on and have my little game of thinking.

About three minutes had passed and I see the same man from today sitting next to me.

"Are you okay love?" His voice sounded so fragile and fresh but at the same time dangerous and harsh.

I nodded my head because if I would say 'I'm fine ' I would lie.

"Are you ok?" He asked one more time but this time he got a shaky "I'm fine" from me.

"Could I ask you what happened?" He leaned his back on the bench as he pulled out a cigarette he lighted his cigarette and started to smoke. His shiny brown hair was fluffy I knew it even if I didn't touch it.

"I thought I had a friend... She left... Because her man didn't want me in their life because he said that I-I-I am a bad habit for her and him  " I sobbed and couldn't hold anymore on the tears so busted out crying.

The man had his cigarette in his mouth he wrapped his hands around me and I only put my hands on his chest. it didn't feel bad but didn't feel good.

"You know people come and go.  the people you love the most. They will hurt you the more. I think you need some rest and more, people in your life. " his words felt so painful but true.

I pulled out of the hug. My eyes were puffy and tired. It was about 2 AM. I couldn't hold on my eyes opened anymore. I left out a sigh and put my head on his arm. It felt hard but comfortable at the same time.
