...Surrounded by the delicious smell of different delicacies and drinks, the place was crowded with different people, some were relatives, some were friends and some were workers. This type of crowd , was not something one could see in any family gathering or any business party, this type of gathering only happen when there is a wedding. Amidst the people we can see a girl, looking around, as if looking for someone. She looked confused and troubled as she was not able to find the person she was looking for. Finally after all the search she stoped a waiter and asked him,...

"Excuse me, but have you seen my sister?"

...The waiter replied with a smile,...

" Yes miss, she just went towards the room designated for the bride to apply makeup."

" oh - ok, thank you very much"

"No issues ma'am"

...After giving a smile to the waiter, the girl made her way toward the room. She pushed open the door, which startled everyone. And there she saw a girl looking at the mirror and giving her her most beautiful smile. She said,...

" Viv, you are late."

...Vivian answer with a little smile,...

" I was stuck with some work, so I got late. Hope you don't mind."

"No, of course I mind, brat today is my wedding what more important work do u have other than being your sister's bridesmaid."

...Rolling her eyes Vivian answered,...

" Yeah I am sorry. "

" Look at the guts, you are rolling your eyes on me??... Brat, you need some serious lessons. "

" Yeah.. yeah... I am sorry.. I am sorry..... won't happen again. But...., nevermind. "

Everyone knew that this was a shotgun marriage but acted as if they were being married to each other because of love. And the groom, he pissed her off the most. The sole reason for that was because he was rude to her sister and didn't care for her feelings. She was against this marriage from the very beginning but she was just a high schooler so her opinion wasn't valued much. And that made her feel helpless in moments like this. And like always, she heaved a sigh and gave her sister a smile,...

" As long as you are happy. Oh, I forgot I have to change to my dress. I'll go and change. I'll be back in few minutes. "

...After she said that, she made her way towards the changing room and as her back was facing her sister, she couldn't see the tears forming in her sister's eyes....

" This silly girl, I was trying hard to not let my emotions overflow and here she asked me this question. Looks like there's still people in this family who care about me. "

...With that, a few drops of tears fell from her eyes but before anyone could notice she quickly wiped it....

...After about thirty minutes, Vivian finally came out from the dressing room,...

"How do I -- !"

...She stoped as she couldn't find the person she wanted to ask the question to. She, out of nowhere started to have a bad feeling abt this....

...But before she could go and tell her parents, she saw her sister emerge out of the balcony. She heaved a sigh of relief as she saw her. And before anything, she saw another figure emerge out from the back. It was none other than her soon-to-be brother in law. She gave him a look filled with disdain and hatred. She knew that what they were having between them was not love but rather a business deal. She knew it but she was reluctant to lose her favourite sister to such a person. This person not only treated her sister bad but also had a lot of affairs outside. He was the classic example of a spoiled kid from a rich family. And she hated him so much that not even his good looks did any good to the situation. But like always she had to swallow her anger and greet him as he was soon going to be her relative,...

" Hello brother in law, what made you come all the way here?"

...Though she said it with a smile, one could clearly make out the disdain she carried for him. And her words did no good to the situation, tho smiling and asking in a polite manner, one could clearly tell that she was asking about his presence in the room, as before the marriage, known to all, he refused to meet her sister saying, her sister was with him just because of money. So she was quite surprised as well as pissed at his presence....

" Nothing, I just wanted to meet her before marriage. Why, can't I!?"

...Tho said in a casual tone, his words held some sort of weight which was hard to shake off....

"No, of course you can. After all my sister is going to marry you soon. Just that, if I remember clearly, your parents clearly told that they wanted their son to be surprised with the bride's beauty so the groom wasn't allowed to come and talk to the bride before wedding. I wonder if they know you are here!?"

...Don't know for what reason, but the groom suddenly started to laugh. He said in between his laugh,...

"Hahaha..... of course I am here because I wanted to see your beautiful sister. So sorry, I couldn't hold myself anymore.... haha.. "

...Tho said in a light manner, he was actually being sarcastic, _ huh! my sister is as pretty as Helen of Troy, who are you to underestimate her?_ she thought. Finally, a person who was watching all the drama quietly for some time, opened her mouth,...

" What did he say to you!?"

Vivian asked with a worried look in her face.

" Nothing, just told me that I look beautiful. "

...She said this with a beautiful smile. It was true that her sister looked damn beautiful but she was sure about one thing, that was not what that guy told her. But she didn't dig into it any further. They started to get their final make up done. After the final touch, it was time, time for the wedding. Vivian's parents came to call them. And finally the long awaited time arrived, for some it was a happy moment, for some it was nothing more than a gathering where they can make business partners and for some it was a life changing descision ...
