Christmas Miracle

I'm Arya McGregor my family is very rich and very nice. They treat me so well and I get love everywhere I go. This Christmas I told my parents we should reopen out cabins by our house for the poor. They loved the idea, giving to the poor was their favorite part of Christmas. So once the cabins opened they asked me what should go in it. I told them warm clothes and fire wood and washed bedding. Once again they loved it. We opened up out cabins to every homeless/Poor person in our village. They were so grateful. My mother Lillian was a poor child growing up so she loved this idea and My father James loved it even more as he was the one who rescued my mother and her family. They have been grateful ever since. I ran down stairs to be greeted by my maid Linda she has been working here ever since I was born and I'm 18 this year.

"Morning buttercup" She said. She has been giving me nick names for as long as I remember.

"Good morning Miss.Linda" I said I sat down ready to eat the delicious breakfast geo our cook made. He is very young 20 to be exact. His husband Gregory works here to he is the butler. Linda smiled to me as she placed a napkin in my lap.

" Oh Arya you can drop the Miss. I have worked here for so long I Consider you my granddaughter " Linda said as she patted my head and gave my forehead a kiss.

"She is right Arya" Gregory said as he snuck up from behind. He was up and ready in his suit that always made Geo blush.

"So Arya have you seen my loving husband " Gregory asked as I was cutting up my Winter Walffes. Geo would make any kind of special waffles. I smiled and pointed to the kitchen, where you could see Geo sticking his head out to take a look at Gregory in his suit. Gregory nodded and walked to the kitchen. I began eating.

I got ready for the Day. Even though Christmas eve was tomorrow I had to be ready. I walked out to see my Father putting up Christmas lights. He was a very cheerful man especially during the holidays. I saw my mother drinking some tea watching the little snow bunnies hop around. The cabins were all lit up and the people (Homeless people sorry I didnt want to be offensive) were having so much fun. It was such a happy sight. But how come I was not that happy. I went and sat next to my mom. She turned and saw me.

" What has you down sweetheart " She said and I looked at her.

" I know this may sound selfish but I'm sad because this is gonna be my first Christmas without Fay" I said. Fay was my childhood friend since I was 5 we spent every Christmas eve and Christmas with her and her family. But last year she moved to Florida. I live in Wisconsin. I miss her every day and night but Christmas would be the hardest.

"Well you cant let to much honey spoil your tea can you" My mom said. That meant I would have to continue life even though some parts may be sad. That's what Limda told me it meant anyway. I nodded and put away my frown. I was not gonna let this small thing ruin my Christmas.

"Ayra go help your father please he need to finish or he is gonna get a cold" My mother said and I nodded but once I got there he was done.

" Oh good morning princess " He said and he stuffed his hands in his pockets.

"Mom said it's time to go inside" I said even though that's not what she said. He wrapped his arm around my should.

"Well let's go. Happy wife happy life " My father said and I nodded.

It was already night time. Geo was making dinner. It smelt so good. I looked in the kitchen to see Gregory walking to me with something.

" Here you go Arya. Geo made it for you." Gregory said. I was huddled on the couch watching my favorite Christmas movie. In my pajamas. I took the cup from him. It was Geo's homemade hot chocolate. My favorite.

" Heh tell him thank you for me please." I said and he nodded. Then walked away. I looked out watching the snow fall. This is perfect.

I was laying down in my bed. Tomorrow is Christmas eve. Finally, I was so excited. Now I needed sleep.

"Buttercup wake up" Linda said. Geo,Gregory and Linda were at the end of my bed.

"Huh oh noooooo please " I said I knew what they were gonna do. They never work on holidays so this is when they become just family.

"Come on please" Geo said in his cute way.

"Fine what new thing do you wanna so me this year" I asked and Gregory held up his phone.

"The meaning of your name" Geo said and I smiled. This may be interesting. I sat up and they sat on my bed. Linda stood behind me. she started brushing my hair. I loved that way it felt when she did my hair. Geo sat on Gregory's lap and searched it up. Gregory smiled over Geo's shoulder.

I thought for a while.

" So I'm named after a boy god" I giggled and so did everyone.

" Well you are honorable and your parents didnt even know this." Linda said and I nodded.

" I like it. Hey Geo can you look up another name" I asked and he smiled and nodded.

"Fay look up Fay" I said and he did.

"Heh that explains so much she was always so trusting and loyal " I whispered to myself. Everyone then left so I could get ready.

"Arya someone is here for you" Linda said as I was doing my hair. I smiled and nodded. I went down stairs and opened the door. I wanted to cry when I saw who it was.

" Hey rya"

It was Fay.

"F-Fay" I said and hugged her.

" I though I wasn't gonna see you this year" I said and see nodded.

" Funny story your parents bought the house next to you for me and my family" Fay said I looked at my mom she nodded.

" Thank you" I mouthed. I wasn't gonna lose my bestfriend. This is what I wanted for Christmas. This was my Christmas Miracle.
