I think when we're drunk, our true personalities come out. And if there's any truth in that, then this chapter shows that Ethan is a wounded child on the inside who is desperate for love and warmth.😔🥺 And I think his need to keep Kliya all to himself stems from a fear that he'll loose her like he lost his mother and he can't bear it. Knowing that, despite everything he did and is doing is wrong, I honestly feel bad for him and hope he comes to his senses and gets help to become a better person. 😞😭
