Chapter 1

*alarm rings*

beep beep beep beep

Cassie reached at her alarm device with her hand and let's it snooze for another ten minutes.

***after ten minutes*

*alarm ringing again

beep beep beep beep

beep beep beep beep***

She was irritated now and took the device into her hands and now switched it off so that she could doze off again without the alarm ringing again.

It was already 6:o'clock in the morning and Cassie just sets her alarm right and it just rang in time. But feeling just the way sleepy she shuts off her alarm ringing and sleeps again. She then hit on her pillow and doze off to sleep again. She was feeling helpless and hopeless because it has already been her third day of interviewing in three different companies but they all rejected her saying she doesn't fit some of the requirements of the company. So today she thought she will go for the interview for the last time but she just shuts off the idea again and went back to sleep in her little comfy and cozy bed.

She did her shower and was watching some YouTube cooking channels while having her light breakfast with two regular donuts and a glass of milk she bought the other day from the LITTLE DONUTS AND BUNS BAKEVILLE. It was nevertheless so delicious she thought she could eat more but anyways she opted to have a light breakfast for the day as she planned to go out and spend some moments alone after a little while and enjoy some calm moments in the community parks and visit some comic stores as reading comic was her favorite past times and also her little hobby.

She thought of having a nice lunch for the day. As she thought this will soak away all her disappointments from the past few days.

Cassie lives alone in her little rented house in the Bristlane Street in New York, her home has 3 little cozy rooms and she loves to take care of it. She has been loving it since she moves away from her parents house 2 years ago in search of a proper job. Her parents and little brother lives in the lane or a 2 hours drive from her home. Her little brother is still in high school and though her parents could afford for now but Caleb was growing, so his tuition so she thought she could move to the bigger City and find a proper job so she could help both her parents and also pay for her little brother's tuition.

*phone ringing*

'Hello'

'oh hello Cassie', how are you feeling today '?

It was Sandra, her best friend since middle school. They studied in the same school till the college and Sandra continued with her other University and they parted their lives in different directions but of course they didn't parted their friendship and they were still in contact and in touch and sometimes they would meet up and spend some weekends together.

'Hello Sandra, what's up'?

'I'm fine , by the way Cassie, how is your thing with the interview going on'?

'oh don't mention again, I'm sulking away my life again'?

'Okay, anyways Cassie, I just thought that I wanna say something to you so I thought we could meet up today'?

'hmmm, maybe not today Sandra? I wanna spend sometime alone today or say I will rest for today'

'how about the day after tomorrow'? 'I will be free'?

'Okay, set , day after tomorrow for sure'?

'thanks Sandra for understanding'?

'No problem my baby girl'

'Anyways Sandra, what is it that you wanna say, could you say it on the phone'? 'what is it about'?

'oh that , it is about some job that my friend is offering in his office'
