Inside an almost empty mall, stood Michi and Guhiyo. One was fascinated; one was particularly unenthusiastic, but he tried not to show it.
"Look, look!" she beckoned, "Over here!" Michi showed a dress with flowery designs, "Would this look good on me?"
Guhiyo lacked fashion sense, but his brain was hard-wired to say, "Yes, that'd look good on you; anything would look good on you, Michi!"
She blushed, "Complimenting me won't get you anything, you know."
"Well, I mean, you already look good, " he murmured.
"What was that?"
"N--no, it's nothing..."
"Tell me honestly; what do you think of this dress?"
"I mean it looks good, mhmmmhmm," Guhiyo, having little to no sense in fashion, struggled with his vocabulary. He started to worry, "I might turn her off! I should come up with a flowery compliments--" With resolve in his eyes, he spoke, "T--that dress..."
"Hm?" she peered.
"... is very flowery; I smell the fragrance because of its meticulous design. I can imagine the breeze blowing causing the flower petals to sway, hmuh, hmuh, that's right. One word ---- fragrant!"
She looked at him, shocked by his onslaught of words, but she wasn't convinced, "And that's what you thought, honestly?"
He pursed his lips and rapidly nodded.
"I guess I should wear it," Michi disappeared into one of the fitting rooms.
"E--eh? What if it won't look good on her? She'll be mad!" his brain screamed, so he ran to the door and knocked, "H--hey! I found a dress that might suit you more!"
"Yeah, sure, after I wear and show this to you, I'll wear it."
"N--no! No need! I think this dress is far superior!"
"It's alright. I'll wear whatever you choose."
"But, I didn't choose that..."
"Wasn't that what your compliments implied?"
"W--well--! I guess that would count..."
The fitting room had thin walls and a thin door, so even the slight whisper by mouth, it'll be heard. Because of this, the rustling of clothes were heard; this made him nervous.
But, it was his fault for imagining what would be on the other side of the door.
The almost-***** Michi, with her luscious ****** and supple legs, that made his heat and another thing pound. He had a grin on his face; some of the store clerks worried if he was a peeking pervert, so they asked him to move away from the room.
"Please wait here," they pointed to a bench a respectable distance away, even if there were closer benches to the room.
"W--what do you take me for!?" he wanted to shout but couldn't.
Few more seconds later, the door opens, and Guhiyo sprang from his seat. And like a damsel dancing around a flowery field, Michi spun around; her skirt dangerously almost revealed underneath.
And with a wink, "What do you think?"
Guhiyo was outstanded ---- awestruck at the sight; he lost all vernacular.
"G--guhiyo... are you alright? Do you have a fever?" she intentionally used the trope: 'It's not a blush; it's a fever.'

"Y--you're wrong!" he leaped backward, "i--it's--!" Unfortunately, he hits an aisle of clothes and fell on them. The combo of the metal bars and the soft but thin clothes cushioned his fall-- not.
"Hiyo!!"
Luckily, he didn't hit his head, but one of the rods struck his hips; that was a painful spot. But he didn't show the agony and quickly stood up with his back bent.
"Hiyo--what?"
She rushed to his side."Guhiyo, are you alright!?"
"Y--yeshi-- ouch!" he held his hips. He wasn't able to stand up straight because of the pain, "I mean," he tried again, but-- "youch!! I'm alright..."
"A--are you sure? You don't seem alright."
"Y--yeah, I'm alright. I'm recovering," Guhiyo was not recovering. Throughout this date, he shall have his bent permanently bent at a slight angle. He looked liked he had an arthritis.
Before leaving the store, Guhiyo and Michi apologized to the staff for causing trouble. Then, their date continued.
"It was a shame I didn't get to try the next dress you chose," she lamented.
"O--oh, really? I'm sorry for causing trouble."
"It's alright. Let's just go back next time," she smiled.
"Good thing we got kicked out because I actually didn't choose another dress!; I lied!" he internally screamed relief.
Next stop: something fun.
That was Guhiyo's next area in his 'date plan.' Though Guhiyo realized that it was not about the date but about your date partner, he still vaguely followed his date plan as reference but was open to Michi's suggestions.
"Shall we go to an arcade?" he suggested.
"Sure! Hopefully we'll find an open one though."
They didn't. Guhiyo has failed.
"Well, that's unfortunate," she remarked with a tinge of disappointment.
"Sorry, I didn't think this through. I shouldn't have had tired you."
"No, it's alright! Just walking beside you like this makes me happy!"
Her beam of smiled made Guhiyo's heart jump a beat. Acute arrythmia has occured, but he didn't go pale. Instead, he rose into excitement, "Yes! So, where do you think we should go!" His heart rate increased; a sign of a heat stroke.
Michi has the ball ---- play ball!
Thought, it may have been ungentlemanly of him, the suggestion of her taking the responsibility gave her some freedom. Guhiyo thought it was a good move to give her the freedom of choice so that she'll have fun! And he was excited to see her likings (other than shopping ---- that bored him)!
As Guhiyo excitedly looked into her eyes, Michi uttered, "The anime store!"
"Anime store?" then, in his mind, "Anime store!!?? Whaaaaaaat!!??" His mind raced for reasons and assumptions. Guhiyo's detective work has begun. "How did she find out I like aime? No, no way she knows! Maybe it's just a coincidence or maybe she likes anime--! No, there's no way! A pretty and pure girl like her liking anime? Not in a million timelines! Then, she must have found out, right? No! I hid it very well. Whenever she visited, I removed every trace of such childishly creepy hobby! I stored my mangas and disks in a different room from mine! I never bought any posters (it hurt me so! I wanted to express my love for Rinicha-chan!) to prevent exposing myself! Who was it-- was it one of my friends!!? Did they betray me!!?" He soon concluded there was such betrayal.
"Guhiyo? You've gone pale."
Indeed, he has gone pale, "W--we don't need to go there..."
"Why?"
"I definitely don't like anime!" he renounced his beliefs! "It's only for creepy nerds, perverts, weebs, otakus, perverts, nerds, weebs, otakus--"
"Are you a broken disk!?" Michi laughed.
"In any case, we don't have to go to the hentai store..."
"Guhiyo," Michi stepped closer to him and placed her finger onto her luscious mouth. "I'll keep it a secret!" ended with a wink.
"Y--you kne--! W--wait, w--what are you keeping a secret, perhaps?"
"That you like anime..."
To feign his shame, Guhiyo awkwardly laughed, "Hahaha...ha...ha, t--those are only for nerds..." he emphasized, "creepy nerds!"
"Geez! Why are you still keeping secrets from me," she pouted.
"I--I wasn't lying though!"
"Really? You know, there's a sale on 'Magical Girl Rinicha-chan'!"
"Rinicha-chan!? I have to--!" Then he realized that he dug his predicament, "Oh, crap!!"
"Ho~? So you do like an anime~! Then, that solves it! Let's go to 'Animanga!"
"A--are you sure?"
"Of course! I accept all of you including your hobbies!"
"Michi..."
"But make sure it doesn't take your time and attention away from me!" her expression turned 180° in that statement.
"But, I'm still happy. Thank you for not being disgusted by it, Michi," a tear flowed down his cheek.
"Oh, don't cry now!"
And that was their second stop on their date, and the time has barely moved. The hour on the clock matched the slow pace of the lovers.
