Ray and Spencer

When May and Chole were done with their lunch and went out for the walk. At that time there seems to be certain who entered the canteen after they had left. So they didn't get to meet them. But if they were to wait a little they would have met them. Because the person who entered the canteen was none other than the president. When the president and his secretary were taking their food from the canteen, those executives and directors who were like bees buzzing around the flower suddenly became quiet and started to distance themselves from the director. The president after getting his food started walking towards the director. Then I sat in front of him and looked at him. The director who was ignoring them all suddenly looked at the president and both of their eyes met each other. They both had little smiles on there face.

" How have you been ? " the president asked the director. " I am fine. How are you brother?" Director said. "Big brother Spencer, as we are in company we should be professional. Call me president" the president said. By hearing this conversation the employees who were watching while eating got shocked. It looks like they got two hits at one time. As not all the employees had known the new president got to see him and they got to know that the director was his brother.

Spencer Wilson was Ray's uncle's son. He was two years older than him. Like Ray he was also handsome, charming and talented. His father and Ray's father were handling the company and together they had made the company so big. But after some time Spencer's father had taken early retirement and had continued his passion for Arts. Spencer had joined the company before Ray and everybody thought that Spencer will be the president after Ray's father. As he was older and had a lot of experience compared to Ray. But Spencer did not have interest in taking over the company. Like his father he also had a passion for traveling and writing about various places. He did not want to tie down to one place and handle such huge responsibility.

The former president had decided to give the position to the one who is worthy. So Ray got the president position due to his worthiness. Previously, he was handling the company's other subsidiary which was in loss. When he took over it the subsidiary had reached the top and was prosperous. But some members of the board of directors wanted Spencer to be next president and not Ray. So there was some cold war between Ray and them due to his appointment as president. Sometimes those members tried to make Spencer president but it did not work.

Even though this whole situation was going on it didn't seem that Spencer and Ray had conflict or on bad terms. They were always dependable on each other. They were brothers and at the same time they were friends also.

"How was your stay there?" the president asked. "It was good and I had a lot of fun visiting different places," Spencer said. "Did you do your work or were you roaming around ?" "Hah, any doubt?! I did all my work. The conditions there are all fine now." " Oh good, good. Nice job." "Let's have dinner together with the whole family tonight." "Yeah, for sure." "But I think it will be us siblings only as mom and dad are on world tour and uncle seems to be deep in following his passion and aunt is taking care of him." "Yeah right my mom and dad may not be coming. How are uncle and aunt any news from them since their tour and what about Lily and Andrew ? How are they?" "Mom, dad are now in Australia and Lily and Andrew are fine. You will meet them tonight." "What about you? How is work going lately ? I know you are always about work and work. Take time, have proper rest once in a while." " Yeah I will."

Ray and Spencer chatted during lunch. Secretary Alex also joined them and had lunch together as they were friends from when they were in middle school. They all chatted happily together. Alex then asked the president " Sir, the lunch break is over we should head back to the office." "Yeah let's go and Spencer you also come with me we have to discuss subsidiary companies management" President said. "Yeah let's go now I am finished with my lunch" Spencer replied. After returning their plates they go to the office.
