4. Friends-4

After a while of crying, the two friends finally calm down.

" You know what, I have always wanted love from my parents, I know they love me. But... as time passes by they were always busy, when we finally have time for one another, they always fight because of their stress. So as I grew up I didn't know anymore what feelings of love towards one's parents, family member feels like. " Jenna continues as she wiped her tears, " I started to become sick of having family dinners, and one day my parents suddenly brought up divorce. That day the fight was very intense. I ran away from home that day, remember. It feels horrible, so living independently was like a goal I have to achieve. I even told my parents about my idea of living alone, but they always ask me ' do you really wish to see our family fall apart?' and I'll always answer 'no'. But who knows, wouldn't it be better for it to fall apart....."

" Jen... you always bring this story up when we have an argument... I am used to it that I feel like it is not sad anymore..." Sue stopped crying and stared at Jenna.

" Whatever... just listen to it... " Jenna smirked at her own habit of acting like she's miserable," Anyway Sue, keep that scholarship, I am sorry for acting like a kid"

" Jen... If you don't want me to give it up, why don't we request to split the scholarship... "

" Sue... You sure? "

" Isn't it a win-win decision... "

" Yeah.. I was stupid of not thinking of that, as for the rest of the money..."

" How are we going to get money..." Sue asked

" I'll go modeling for clothes and other brands, I have the face of a model right?"

After an hour of chit-chatting the two friends made up, they toured around the night street enjoying the last day of being a high school student.

**The day of Graduation day **

" Jen.. I think we'll be keeping new traditions!" Sue said happily.

" What tradition?"

"The tradition of having to graduate without our parents, just the two of us !!" Sue exclaimed.

" Hey! Sue aren't I your family ..."

"Of course you are! I forgot!"

SNAP SNAP! SNAP!  (went the camera)

' students lets take graduation photos! ' shouted the school's principal.

" I never thought I would be able to graduate with my grades" said a student.

" Mom, dad thank you for the flowers, I love you guys !" said another.

" Oh my god, I feel like crying ... I am finally graduating! " said another one.

" C'mon lets take a picture teacher, lets create memories!!  Cheeessseeee~~!! "

"CHEESSEE ~~ "

After the graduation ceremony, Jenna and Sue propose the idea of dividing the scholarship into two to the principal. There were disagreements at first, but after learning about the two student's dream, the principal understand his student feelings, although it doesn't quite make sense why they can't just take the test and study in Harvard without scholarship instead, he still decided to do as they requested.

The principal knew that sometimes youth need wild decision to be enjoyable, sometimes always following the orders of how things should be done is really torturing, and not all adults can understand what a young-adult is thinking.

After a month of waiting, Jenna and Sue finally became Harvard students, although they still have issues with their family, life is still enjoyable, as they had each other company.
