Episode 1: Basics

Yet again it had occurred, no explanation, nothing at all but another had arrived.

Completely bewildered Atas threw up, remembering Adam's downfall, he felt fear but after many deep breaths he regained his composure.

He also arrived in his house and noticed creaks downstairs, he quickly went down to find the same figure that Adam previously ran from. However Atas was different, he walked in with courage and looked directly at the strange figure. They both maintained eye contact and waited for the first move.

"What are you?" Atas said

The figure responded "Oh you do not fear me like the last" "To answer your question I am.." A slight pause occured, all while maintaining direct eye contact. The figure thought to himself "This boy is different" Momentarily after, the figure then spoke "Well I guess you could call me a creature of the curse sent here to guide you, the chosen."

"Chosen? What is the curse?" Atas said

"The curse is an ultimate power that had been used on your planet, and as you are the chosen it is your responsibility to defeat the owner of the curse." The figure responded. A brief moment passed. Atas looked down and was sweating "Does that mean I will have to fight those monsters?" he said.

"What you call monsters is just mindless creatures that are there to provide you with points, points is a measure that can be considered money used to purchase items to assist you, I sell these items."

After hearing this news he was in disbelief, he thought it was all a dream "Your kidding right, are you saying I have to fight monsters to survive, what about my family, my friends everyone I knew"

"Upon breaking the curse shall you set humanity free" Any person would be in distraught, in fear, such a heavy burden was something that only Jr could do.

(Atas will be now called by his surname Jr)

"I won't waste your time, I understand what I must do" Slouched he looked down and slowly walked towards the kitchen.

The figure shouted out

"WAIT, there I something you need to know, no monster can be harmed with any man-made

weapon, it will simply not damage them, to harm a monster you will need a weapon from my shop or a weapon with Mana essence"

Atas turned and his face glowed up "Mana as in magic? No way this is becoming like an anime" But he realised that he didn't have any points and no weapon with Mana, he would be a sitting duck that would be waiting for it's slaughter if it went out. The figure noticed this "Have no fear bring me one weapon and I will add Mana to it free of charge" Upon hearing this Jr ran straight to the kitchen and picked out the sharpest knife he could find, he thereafter received a weapon so he could fight. Jr was walking out but then heard a final call. "**The name is Zoc, and I wanted to ask why did you not fear me?"

"Humanity was born with the fear of the unknown, I saw how the last chosen was noticed by you, yet you were not hostile. I then assumed that you must of not been a threat to me**."

In this sentence Zoc and the 7 billion human humans thought this could be the one who can break the curse.

Jr had his hand on the handle of the exit, and smiled to himself. He realised, despite every human being gone but him, he was still not alone.
