**I'm the author of this novel. There are many places that are said to be haunted. Some people believe it. Some don't. **

A person is seen. He was sleeping., his face with a deep frown. And his shirt was completely wet due to the sweat..

He was dreaming. This dream was the same one, he was having since that incident.

The incident that changed his life. He sat up directly on his bed, panting...

Hah... Hah.. Hah...

"F*ck" he panted. He turned on the light and went in the kitchen to drink water.

After drinking the water, he appeared to be relatively calm. But he knew it better.

He still remembered her screams..

#Flash back

"Mama, what are you doing? I am a grown up boy. " a twelve year old kid said to his mother who was kissing him on his cheeks.

And she said with an amused smile,  "You will always be a kid for me. After all I am your mother"

"You are spoiling him sis. He will be going to the scool. You know. " said a petite woman.

That petite woman is the definition of a model. Beautiful with the curves.

*Shit, I forgot about this novel being a horror one. *

After hearing the petite woman's words, the kid's mother had a sad look.

Because the school where he was to go, is in California. The place where his dad lived.

Right now they were in Alaska.

Seeing the sad look in his mama's eyes, the kid said, "Mama, don't worry. I will be gone for just a few years. And I will be coming back during holidays. "

Hearing the kid's reassuring words, his mother smiled. Seeing the mother - son duo, the petite lady smiled warmly.

Hmm.. Let me introduce you to the characters mentioned till now. The one who was having a dream is Jonas. And he is the same kid in the flash back.

His mother's name was/is Salena.

And that petite lady is Jennifer. She is his aunt.

The setting of his flash back in the manor, which will be called the most haunted manor in the future..

Salena was caressing the head of the kid Jonas. He was sleeping. His cute snores echoed throughout the room.

Salena suddenly stood up. And went to the kitchen to drink water.

When she was returning, the Television suddenly turned on. She turned towards the TV. Feeling something off, she turned the Tv off. But as soon as she turned it off. She heard constant sounds. It felt like someone was murmuring an unknown language.

She then slept. Thinking she was hallucinating. Probably.

Note - Jennifer had already left.

It was midnight. When suddenly, the kid Jonas heard a scream. He bolted up, frightened. He looked for his mama. She was nowhere to be found. He got out of the bed, and opened  the door.

Squeak....

* I don't know how to describe an old door making sound... Creaking???

The kid froze due to his fear. There was blood. His heart started to beat like crazy. His eyes were brimming with tears.

He soon saw that the blood marks continued and was leading to the living room. He crouched and followed.

And he couldn't help but cover his mouth  with his hands.

In front of his eyes, someone was using an axe to chop his mother continuously.

And that someone was none other than his aunt Jennifer.

He ran quietly into his room. He shut the door. He locked it. He saw his mama's phone. He quickly called his dad.

Meanwhile, in a car...

A man was driving his car. He had a smile on his face. He was going to meet his son. And will be staying with him for quite some years. He was happy. But he would have been happier, if his wife would also have followed him to California.

Suddenly his phone rang.

"Salena... " He  read out the name. And picked up. He was stunned when he heard his son's crying.

He said, "Jo.. Jonas, what is it kiddo, why are you crying.. Tell daddy. Daddy will help  you. "

He tried to make his voice as soothing as possible.

But what he heard next made him shiver. Not with fear. He was crying. But then he put on a brave face and said , "Jo, don't make a noise and hide yourself in the cabinet. "

And then he called 911.

Back in the manor.

Hearing what his dad said, Jonas rushed with the phone in his hands inside the cabinet and locked it from inside.

"Jonas, where are you.. Come your aunt Jennifer has brought some  chocolates for you... Where are you. "

Hearing this creepy voice, Little Jonas covered his mouth with his little hands.

Meanwhile outside the manor.

"Alice, is this the house? " A young cop asked his colleague.

Alice nodded. And they along with a few more cops entered the house.

They bashed the door open. And soon Jennifer understood what was happening.

She said in a sinister voice, "You f*cking kid. Let me deal with them, then I will chop you up like your bitch mother. "

She took out an axe, and stood behind the door. As soon as one of the cops came inside the room to search, she chopped his arms. The Cop screamed and pointed his gun at Jennifer. And shot. It hit her on the arm. Hearing this noises, the squad quickly surrounded Jennifer and pointed their guns at her. And Alice said, " You are under arrest. Place your arms where we could see it. "

They all had already seen, Selena's body. And they knew how terrifying the murderer's thinking would be. Jennifer tried shooting the gun at Alice. But she was saved. As soon as the young cop saw, Jennifer was going to shoot, he shot her at her head.

Soon Jones's dad arrived.
