After 10 years.

After I returned from the forest that day, my mom said she had an urgent work and we had to leave that minute.

So I went back to the city and I didn't visit my grandmother for 10 years since my mom had a lot of work.

When I was 15, my mom decided to take me to my grandmom's house again.

My mom was excited but me....I didn't want to return! that experience of getting lost was terrific!!

We went with the train the next day, and reached the mansion in the evening.

"Lisec! I miss you so much dear. " said grandmom as she ran towards us.

"I miss you too grandmom! " I replied.

My grandmom said that as I'm a teen now, she will give me a private room.

And yes! I got a new room! it was beautiful!!!

Yes, my room in the city was better because of the advance things....but this room was also good as it looked fresh!

I felt weird because everytime we come in here, we bring only a few stuffs, but this time mom packed all my clothes.

She told me that I will be staying for a year in my grandmom's house as she will be busy in the city.

She promised me that she'll come when she's free.

I was..... devastated..... I felt I'll never see her again... but I didn't care and trusted my mom!

And so my mon left.

I lived in the huge mansion with my grandmom, aunt Zucy and Ari (aunt zucy's daughter).

They were very kind and supportive.... Ari always taught me calligraphy, drawing and other stuffs , aunt Zucy taught me cooking and grandmom told me lots oof stories.

Since grandmom knew alot of the countryside I asked her.

"Grandmom, what is in the Cherrywood forest?" I asked

"Ch-Ch-Cherry wood !!!!!" she said trembling.

"Cherrywood forest is the forest guarded by the immortal, Lewis. He is not an ordinary immortal, he's the Prince of the pheonix kingdom. it's said that he kills anyone who enters the forest and many people died by just stepped on one of the steps, he spend most of his times playing ghuzheng under the sakura tree. Other than him there is Yuhan, the spirit who takes the form of an old man balancing swords and there is also a female spirit, Reyin , it's said that she loves Prince Lewis but he rejected her." she added

"but why do u ask?" she asked

"oh nothing, I was just curious."I replied.

"Dinner time!" aunt Zucy called.

We went to the dining room.

While we were eating aunt Zucy asked, "Li (nickname of Lisec) where is the bird I gifted you when u were 5? "

" Uh...aunt.....I lost it...." I replied.

"oh dear where did u lose it? Don't worry I'll get u a new one!" she said.

"Grandmom can I roam around the countryside tomorrow?...alone?" I asked

"Yes ofcourse, feel free" she replied.

we ate our dinner and it was time for sleep.

I was going to go to my room when I heard aunt Zucy, grandmother and Ari talking about me.

"I feel sad for Lisec, how could her mom abandon her for a rich man?" aunt Zucy said.

"Oh yes. she has kinda lot of properties awaiting. we can be nice to her and loot her hehe." grandmom said

"No! that's not fair! she's our family!!"Ari said angrily.

"Shut up! she's not worth!" said aunt.

I .... was.... I couldn't feel anything....all were lies....the promises , guidance and .......

everything.....

I quietly went to my room, crying, when Ari came in.

"No need to cry! Hurry leave! They're trying to kill you!" she said.

"okay..." I replied.

I packed a few things like water, fruits, some clothes and some money in medium sized backpack.

Before I left , Ari came , gave me a jade flute and a crystal pendant.

"Find out all the secrets. promise me!" she said in a hurry.

" I don't know what secret but I'll find it..." I answered and waved her goodbye.

And duhhh it was night time! Where will I go! I walked and walked when I saw a familiar gate....I went in thinking it was okay...
