Discusting world

800 years,...It's been a very very long time since the day I meet the person that once gave me reason that this world is a peaceful, hopeful and beautiful in every aspects.

Hi! my name is Katherina Collins currently serving as the General of the Northen Continents, ruled by the Empire of Whiteraine.People call me "The living death" or "Bloodhound". Will I'm not that surprised though because of the past decisions I made. Wars after Wars...Battles after Battles...."peace" is only a mere fantasy even to a mere child of my Empire. But I found my second hope of peace in a child of a small kingdom I just conquerd. I offered that child to come with me. I already expected that child to refuse me because I destroyed that childs homeland but I just didn't expect that child to deperate looked into me, indirectly saying that it wants to come with me. I dropped my weapon and opened my arms widely like a mother fitching its child. The child jumped and hugged me tightly and I got surprised from the childs cry. I was confused but as i observed her scratchs, old injuries that is unusual for a child to have. My comrades and I took pity on that child. I then ask that child name but no word came out of that child mouth. But instead that child wrote on my hand from its little and weak hands. I first thought that it's only shy to say a word but that child opened its mouth and we saw that child's tongue being cut. We were more than shockt.....emphany, symphaty nor pity can enough to make that child's suffering ease even a bit. I hugged that child tightly but with care and gentleness. That child wrote on my hand again and that child wrote that she is a girl and has no name given by the adults that have been giving her roof but no love, care, or pity was showed towards her from my observation. I carried that child and looked at her blue clear eyes. I didn't notice it at first but this little one didn't held any hatred but only a since of longing. I took her with me from that hellish place. I held that child until we reach our carriage and swear to give that lovely child a life that she deserve to begin with.

We travelled till we reached our destination. We walked out the carriage and I kneeled to the child and said...

"From now on..you will be named as Clinodia Collins, I combined the word Clear, kindness, and innocense that describes of who u are in my eyes and also from now on you will be my one and only daughter and I also promise to give u a very harmonious and peaceful life from now on.''

I pat her head gently and kiss her forehead. I stood up and held her little hands. I walked with her towards my mansion and opened a new life for her.
