The Mafioso's Children's Nanny

Episode 1

Esther is a kind-hearted, friendly, well-mannered, and humble woman. At 24 years old, she's single, lives in a small apartment, and has a degree in nutrition.

Four years ago, Esther and her parents were involved in a car accident, which resulted in her parents' deaths. Esther fell into a coma for several months, lost her memory, and subsequently moved to the city where she was hospitalized.

After leaving the hospital, Esther started a new life. She studied, graduated in nutrition, secured a job at a senior support center, and began providing dietary care for the residents there.

With ongoing treatment, she began to recall everyday memories, though they were mostly from her childhood.

Esther was reading to some elderly ladies when a woman called her out to the garden.

Celina: Sorry to pull you away.

Esther: No problem, can I help with something?

Celina: You're a very hardworking woman, I admire that about you. My boss needs a nanny for his children, would you be interested?

Esther: Really? I don't know, Celina. I've never taken care of children before. What if I do everything wrong?

Celina: LOL, relax, I'll be there. You're going to like it and learn fast. There are two kids, a 5-year-old boy and a 10-month-old baby.

Esther: I see, do you think I stand a chance?

Celina: I'll talk to him about you. Give me your resume, and I'll get back to you with his response.

Esther: Alright, thank you, Celina. This would really help me.

Celina: Don’t thank me, dear. I like you, and I know they don't pay much here. But I’m grateful for how well you take care of my mother.

Esther: It's done with great affection.

Celina: I know, dear.

They said goodbye, and Esther returned to the reading room, but her focus was elsewhere, preoccupied with the prospect of the nanny job. Could it work out?

Two days later...

Celina came back to the senior center, visited her mother, and then approached Esther.

Celina: Can we talk?

Esther: Sure, let's go to the garden.

Celina: How's my mother doing? She seems rosier.

Esther: She's eating well. If she keeps this up, she'll put on a few more pounds.

Celina: That's good. Esther, I talked to my boss, and he wants to meet you. How about you come with me for an interview?

Esther: Of course, we can go right now. I was just about to head out.

Celina: Great.

Esther grabbed her belongings, bid everyone farewell, and left with Celina. A sleek black car awaited them, driven by a chauffeur to the house.

Celina is the house manager and has taken care of the “boss” and his home for years, considered part of the family.

Esther knew that Celina's boss was wealthy, but upon seeing the house, she was stunned. Inside, the house's beauty exceeded its exterior, oozing luxury, leaving Esther in awe.

A striking man in a suit, with a cold, calculated expression, descended the stairs and glanced at them.

Celina: Logan, this is the person I mentioned.

Logan: Follow me.

He departed, and Esther took a deep breath, crossed herself several times, and followed him.

They entered his office, where Esther was visibly nervous. She could barely bring herself to look at him, but as an astute observer, he demanded she maintain eye contact during their conversation.
