The fatty man.

The fatty man turns the market upside down in search of the young girl and when he finds her, he tells her lies. He sais that he bumped into the boy from her descriptions, that he knows where he is and that he will lead her to find him.

This stinking fatty man is not as simple as he looks to be. Besides being a well-known grocer during the day, he's also a mermaid trader during the night. In the most shady corners of the fish market are places where mermeid slave traders gather to sale their new blood and flesh products.

This man is one of the numerous bastards who catch and enslave mermaids for sale or self keep.

Enslaving other living creatures had become a habit in that rotten era without morality.

Zhenzhu is fooled by his words and follows him back to his house of terror. Here she gets attacked by five greddy eyes (his loyal subordinates) and trapped in a magical net.

Usually is impossible to catch a mermeid with a common tool because either they have high speed or high spiritual powers.

"This girl is a difficult prey", they say, "it must worth the effort" and indeed she isn't just an ordinary mermaid but the princess of the waters.

Later she is transferred to a special cell and left there alone in the dark. To his disappointment she doesn't shed any tear in all this time spent in the dark prison, so he pays her a visit. All the food sent was on the platter left untouched. When he sees this, the fatty man starts agonizing because he loses his time on a worthless piece of art for nothing. He wants to sell her at a brothel, saying that it makes no difference for men if she has permanent legs or a fish tail but one of his lackeys stops him saying that they can sell it to a rich man (as a mermaid) and gain a lot of money.

"Let's wait a bit more, maybe she will produce pearls", "if she doesn't, we will sell her", says the fatty man into an end.

After five more years the result was the same, that's why they decide to sell it.

During a gathering, she's transported with the other girls to a selling point and here she catches the attention of many rich people. Into an end she's sold to a very rich young lord who owns many businesses in that region.This proeminent young man appeared over night four years ago and gained a lot of land in that region. He was just a young boy back then but now he turned into an influential figure. He shows quite a huge interest in mermaids and tries to buy as many as he can.

Her condition has worsened in the last five years and she doesn't resemble the beauty from the past anymore but something tells him that she's someone special. After the acquisition, the mermaids are transported to his own residences and Zhenzhu also ends up in one of the young lord's houses.
