Soulsmith
A large burly menace thundered down a narrow hallway heading for a quaint little shop. He wore a worn eyepatch; underneath multiple massive scars littered his face. His muscles could be compared to those of a wyvern. A black elven tattoo covered his neck and chest. He smashed open the door to the small shop with enough force to crack the tiny floral pattern on the door. He slammed a small heart shaped pendant on the table breaking the wooden stained floorboards under the rusted ironwood desk. A small male satyr quivered looking at the intimidating man. Taking out a knife the horrifically large man held it to the pitiful satyr’s neck and growled. “Where is your boss.” He grunted in annoyance. The traumatized shopkeeper spoke “I... -In the b-...b-back!” The boy cowered under the old desk praying to the merciful gods. The man grabbed the pendant off the table and thundered over to the backroom. He grabbed the steel door handle crumbling it like paper with his brutality. Swinging open the door he walked in and threw the pendant on the obsidian desk outlined in golden lotuses. “Give it back! You lied, you thief!” He roared. A person was sitting in a dragon leather swivel chair across from him with their back turned. “Did I ever actually say it was true? You barbarian, just fell into my trap. It was your idiocy that you actually believed me.” The mysterious person said with a laugh and swiveled around in their chair.

The Pendant of Sorath
A young cute girl sat across from him. She had two sets of horns. One spun around like a ram and the other pointed to the sky. She had snow white hair and bandages covering her eyes. A large set of torn wings draped over the chair. Sharp talons lined her fingers and feet. An oversized black cloak covered her whole body. “You know I really missed you, you big guy. Its been too long since I have seen you” said the little girl. A small kitten jumps from her lap into the barbarian’s arms. “MR. FLUFFLES! Oh, how I missed you so much!” He nearly cried rubbing his face in the kitten’s soft coat. The little girl rested her scarred hands on her dainty face in boredom. “One, I’m no thief I just borrowed your cute little friend. Two do you have what we agreed upon?” she spoke coldly. “You know sometimes I wish you weren’t the boss, and yes I have the Pendent of Sorath.” He said annoyed. “Well you shouldn’t always trust me so much. It’s your fault you didn’t prepare ahead of time. So what? I might have said there were only a few guards. I didn’t know that it was maybe a few hundred well-trained half demons.” She says as she swipes the amulet and exchanged it for a hefty satchel of gold. “Because of your faulty informants I nearly lost my life and the amulet with it!” He spoke harshly bearing his fanged glistening black teeth. She rose from her luxurious chair and hissed “You dare challenge my informants? What does puny street scum like you know about me?” A bright red light shimmered through the bandage. Her claws dug into the beautifully carved table. Her wings rising fiercely encircled with fire proving her dominance over him. He sunk his eyes wide as a moon cowering down into a bow. Cold sweat slowly running down his face as he spoke nervously. “S-sorry this servant spoke out of line. Please have mercy your highness on this humble, loyal servant’s life.” His eyes were fear stricken as he awaited punishment from his Master. She raised her sharpened claws she cut his face deeply leaving his cheek with two long cuts, so he can forever remember not to speak out against his Master. “Now then I hope you have learned your lesson to not disobey your soul sworn Master.” She spoke with a cruel grin for she loved punishing those who disobeyed or went against her. Grabbing the amulet on the table and holding it in her tiny, scared, palms she looked over it. She spoke in a frustrated voice “How come this tiny little necklace took you so long to get? Here I thought this relic was actually worth my time. It’s just a stone with faded scribbles on it hardly any soul power at all” Blood dripped from his face slowly on to the weathered ghost wood floor. “We ran into complications along the way. We didn’t expect that it would take over a month but one of our followers betrayed us and sent our ware bouts to the other side. Don’t worry Master I have already dealt with him” he said in a fearful yet confident tone. “This would explane why he was acting suspiciously recently… Besides for this traitorous event did you suppress the information that was leaked?” She said as she grabbed a mirror to try on the simply crafted, ancient pendent. She spoke without faulter “All the information and witnesses have been eradicated no one is aware of what organization we are truly running.” She adjusted the amulet around her neck seeing how it fit while speaking “Great we must make sure no one knows anything we shall be known as only a simple shop.” She looked up from the mirror and grabbed the amulet in her hand “To bad this necklace would have looked good with my cloak” She crumbled it with an unfazed look on her face as a blue swirling gem was left in her palm. “Well I guess we will have to go on another adventure.” She sighed. He stood up from kneeling and grinned widely while unsheathing his massive sword “Then let’s go on another adventure Master. Just like old times…” The little kitten also meowed in agreement.
