I got in my truck and drove to my dads place after I gathered my stuff from my dorms. It was summer vacation and I was planning to just spend my vacation at my sisters apartment since she said it was alright, but then me and my sister got the call from our dad that him and his girlfriend Fiona have spectacular news to tell us. My sister was suspicious towards them and so was I but who knows maybe they'll tell us their breaking up or something. I wouldn't say I don't like Fiona but she just randomly got in the picture 4 years back, my dad wasn't dealing well with our moms death and he couldn't move on but when he saw Fiona at his flower shop....Fiona and my dad just hit it off I guess.

I pulled up into my childhood home and shut off my trucks engine. Still hasn't changed huh.. I smiled looking at my home. I got out of my truck and grabbed my backpack and truck keys. I knocked on the front door and pulled on my best game face smile and ringed the door bell.

My sister answered the door and hugged me right after she saw it was me. My sister Eleanor Jell looked like a carbon copy of my mother. She had dirty blonde hair just like her and the same 5'8 ft frame as my mother. I was gifted with my dads tall genes and my moms dirty blonde hair but I couldn't stand it so i dyed it my beautiful pink color. My sister was still hugging me as my dad came to the front door.

"Well hello there miss gina." my dad said with a smile.

My dad was 6'2 ft and had brown hair with white streaks in his hair from his age of 45. He had on his apron and looked as bright as can be.

"Hi there dad." I said smiling. "Could I possibly scootch on inside El?" I said facing down at my sister with a raised brow. "ugh fine you big ogre. Carry me inside with you cause im not letting go." Eleanor said.

I carried her inside and sat on the couch and dropped my backpack and keys on the floor, my sister plopped on the side of me and was peacefully just existing on my side. My sister has always been like this since we were kids. My sister always had to be in my personal space even in highschool so when time came to separate for college it was one hell of a day. Fiona came in the room and put down cups of tea but one cup was coffee, most likely for me. "Hello Ginnesta, how was college today?" Fiona said. "Oh uhm, It was alright. I finished my finals and it took most of the day for my friends to just let me leave to go pack up my dorm." I said eye brow raised at the way Fiona was acting and how she was always throwing her hand in the air for whatever reason. And then I saw it. A ring. Right on her ring finger. Big and bright and hard to miss. I sat wide eyed and Eleanor saw it too. We both sat shocked, and if on cue we both said at the same time "YOUR ENGAGED?!?!?!" we both said in absolute shock and disbelief. THEY'VE BEEN DATING FOR 4 YEARS?! "Oh! You noticed" Fiona said with a smile and blush on her cheeks. "Well Ginnesta and Eleanor your dad proposed to me 3 months ago and we both felt it was time for you to know.. Surprise?" Fiona said holding my dads hand and smiling.

Me and Eleanor sat there in shock, we both looked to our dad and I asked "Is this true dad?" "Ehe..Yes it is gina darling. Im sorry we didn't tell you sooner but we just had to keep it a surprise until we could tell you the bigger surprise." my dad said. "What's the bigger surprise. What you gonna make us move to a different town??" I joked and looked to my sister. It was silent for a few seconds and I looked to my dad and he was smiling. What..the...****!?! "WHAT!?! DAD THERE'S NO WAY." I raised my voice and Fiona flinched. My dad got visibly upset about that and raised HIS voice at me which honestly shocked me and Eleanor "DON'T YOU DARE RAISE YOUR VOICE YOUNG LADY!" I sat down and held my sisters hand in shock. Im a full grown woman and got yelled at by my dad...what is happening. "Listen I know you like it here but me and Fiona wanted to leave and to move to her hometown. It's a great place it's called Wanlock Valley and the people are so nice there you wouldn't even believe it till you saw it. They have a nice highschool, bakery, floral shop, even a mall. I promise it'll be great." My dad said smiling and sat down. Moments of silence happened and I visibly got pissed off even more. "Listen. Im happy for your engagement but you do not have the right to make a dull grown 22 year old female move to a different town right after summer break. AND WHAT IF ITS NICE THERE? YOU DIDN'T EVEN ASK IF ME OR ELEANOR WANTED TO MOVE WITH YOU." I yelled. "Honey listen. Me and Fiona bought a nice 2 story house in the town and we live right around the block of a big open forest. And I know you'll love it there Gina because the local sheriffs department is in need of some help. And you will too El because there's a library in need of some help. And town mayor is as friendly as can be and I know both of you will like him and all the other families there." my dad said. It does sound nice but what of the sheriffs department...if its not as good as it seems i can sign up for helping out at the library with El. Ill ask her first. "El come with me we need to talk about this."

I dragged my non talktive sister with me upstairs and into the spare bedroom. "Alright do you wanna go with it or not. Your my baby sis by 4 minutes and I'll do whatever you want in this situation and im on summer vacation so It doesn't really matter what happens for me since I already Finished College. Its all on you sis. Come on give it to me." I said in my most serious voice I could muster in my shocked state right now. "I think it's okay? Like I didn't go to college and I live by myself and I only wish to work as a librarian for my life long job. So it doesn't really bother me. So yeah I guess yes?" Eleanor said. I nodded my head and grabbed her again and ran downstairs and landed at the bottom with a thud from my big build. "Dad, Fiona, El says she thinks its alright and I've agreed that ill go to if she goes with you. Im not leaving my dunce sister with either of you in a town full of strangers." My dad and fiona smiled so bright it hurt my eyes. "GREAT! WE HAVE ALL OUR STUFF ALREADY MOVED TO THE NEW HOUSE BESIDES SOME FURNITURE AND OLD PHOTOS AND ANTIQUES!!" Fiona squealed and ran off into the kitchen. I dropped my sister and looked around and realized. All the pictures of me, eleanor and our mom were all out in the open but all the other pictures of me and my sister and our dad were all most likely boxed. I oozed with anger and grabbed them and threw them in my backpack. Eleanor looked even more sad when she saw the chair our mom always sat in to read us stories at night sat in the corner. I was mad and sad at the same time. I bet Fiona suggested not bringing it because of old memories. "Hey El sit in moms chair real quick." Eleanor looked at me and then just plopped on her chair and pulled a pose our mom always did, Eleanor most likely already new what I was gonna do. I snagged a picture with my phone and me and my sister got up and walked to our cars and waited until our dad and Fiona came out and got in there car and we all drove off to this mysterious Wanlock Valley.
