Chapter 2

A few days later, a group of people came to the church. I wonder who are they and I took a peek. The people at the church looked worried and the other children also stayed inside. As I took a peek, I saw a group of knights and a royal carriage. The maids who took care of me hurriedly went to them and said, "Welcome, Your Majesty. Glory to the Empire." The man inside the carriage came outside and told them to get up. A maid saw me and dragged me out, saying to greet my father. A man I didn't know, a man who appear before me, is my father, I questioned myself. The man stood before me and greeted me with care. He hugged me saying, "I'm sorry for leaving you and your mother here. I didn't have time. Will you forgive me and call me Father?" Tears rushed down my cheeks, knowing to forgive my father. I called him, "Father, welcome back" and he smiled back at me. A few minutes later, he asked me how I'm doing and visited my mother's grave. He told me about my real identity, Alicia Ross, a royal princess of King Ross. He asked me to live with him and I agreed. Before I left, I said my farewell to the people at the church and to my mother's grave. My maids and I went on the second carriage to go to the royal palace.

fascinated and smiled brightly. A woman voiced,

lady you're holding on to?" The woman glared at

me and chills ran down my spine. My father

exclaimed, "This is my daughter, Alicia Ross. She is

the daughter of Cynthia Brown. She will be living

here now, as the part of the royal family. I won't

let anything happen to her from now on." The

woman talked back at him, saying "There is no In the big room, there is a orb on the cushion. He

Water, Earth, Light, Darkness. I listened to my

father and touched it. The orb shined, displaying

five different colors: red, green, blue, brown

yellow, black. My father felt happy for me being

able to use all attributes of magic. He says,

will begin your studies and magic training." I was

thrilled, knowing that my father is on my side.

Night fell, my father told me I could sleep in my

mother's room. My father took me to a tall tower.

I looked inside and saw that it's clean. Though it

looked cramped, it was enough for me to stay. I

was happy because I'm still not used to

extravagant or fancy rooms. My father told me,

"Good Night and Sweet Dreams Tonight" and left.

I also send the same message back to him. I was

tired for the whole day and fell asleep.
