The first meeting

Becky stared at the New girl for a moment and made her way towards her.

' Hi , I am Becky ' st said proudly , 'the head girl of the school and a part of this club. This is Taylor , the head of this club ' .

alessandra looked at this strong voiced , tall , lean pretty girl and she could hardly say anything.

' Hi ' she managed to say in a squeaky voice and smiled at both of them standing in ffront of her.

' the debating society is an elite club and not everyone can be a part of it. There I an audition held only once a year. Even for the president of the club. ' she said and pointed at Taylor and he nodded agreeing with her.

alessandra didn't know how to react. She stated at both of them not knowing what to say.

'Becky ? ' she said.... ' I was a part of the debating team in my previous school too..... can I atleast..'

Becky interrupted

'it doesn't matter what you were a part of in your previous school..... You have to audition for it and for this year the entry in this club is closed.... ' Becky said and turned to leave.

' alessandra.... right ? ' Taylor confirmed her name

' yeah ' alessandra agreed

' Did you come to st James last year ?' Taylor asked. Since the first time he had seen her , he felt something familiar about her.... fine he knew her or something. Now he got it .

' yes , I was a part of the st Marie's team. we came second ' she said proudly.

' off yes , I thought I have have seen you before !'

he smiled 'I think we can give her a chance ? Maybe hold an audition ? what do you say , Becky ?'

'fine.... But remember, they came second , we came first ' Becky said looking at Taylor and then alessandra and left.

Taylor waited for Becky to walk further away from them and said , 'Thursday morning ? at 9 am ? and don't mind her.... she can be a little rude.... ' he said

' its okay... you were good at competition. you deserved it... ' alessandra said with a smile.

Taylor smiled, Turned and followed Becky out of the auditorium.

alessandra smiled stupidly. She liked the sweet guy who had just talked to her.

' do you have to be rude ?' Taylor asked Becky as he caught up with her.

'they need to know who runs this place here' she said

'ummm... I run the debating club' he said , trying to stand up to her, which he often tried but never succeeded.

' and you don't run it well , that's why I have to do this , taylor. Look if you don't show them who the boss here is , they will not respect you !' she said

'hmm...' he said , letting the matter go... thinking that is no point arguing with her.

backy left for the meeting with the princial regarding the annual day of the school which is scheduled to a month later.

Often Taylor felt that Becky was too domineering , but he liked her too much to say anything to her. Plus, taylor was just another nurd before Becky and he had become friends during a debating club meeting one year ago. Now he dated the girl with longest leg in school!
