Eden

Earth as we know it. The president of the United States has just issued the members of agency 355 - an organization of superheroes - a very crucial job. One that might dictate the survival of the planet and all it's inhabitants.

The NASA - National Aeronautics and Space Administration - had spotted a UFO - Unknown Flying Object - approaching Earth at a great speed.

The heroes of this Earth have gone out to see for themselves and for the planet, what it is that makes the president fear so...

...(Fifteen years prior to the UFO being spotted.)...

In a throne room very very far away from Earth...

"Your Grace, I am at your service." A man knelt before the dais of a king and addressed him accordingly. "You have failed me once, Eden. Do not fail me again. Do this deed and I shall raise your ranks amongst your peers. But fail me and I shall have your head." Thus came the reply of the king. "Now, let yourself out. "

The man kneeling slowly stood up and walked steadily with his back towards the door. It was common custom to never have your back facing the king. Moreso, it was seen as an abomination for such a thing to happen.

The man speaking with the king finally corrected his posture after exiting the throne room of the king. He was known as Eden and was very famous, being the youth with the greatest potential in the whole of the Seven Kingdoms. But his family was poor, and in this setting, family background matters a lot. This caused a lot of people with better backgrounds to look down on him all the time.

Eden's standing therefore, was very low. But once the king had recruited him for a certain privy job, no one dared look down on him again, for he had achieved a great thing; to get the king's attention.

The King, with whom Eden spoke - King Aegon Targaryen, crowned as King Moloch the First and popularly known as The Mad king - was a heirless man. Or at least so it was known on this Earth. This made a lot of people much more eager to get the throne with whatever means necessary. And some of them had gone to the trouble of digging into the king's past life, since before he was crowned king.

Even though the king knew this, he did not wish to kill every noble in his kingdom seeing as there would be no one else who would be useful in anything else he would need. So, he let them be. But this dis not mean he would willingly give up the throne to some undeserving brats. No, he would fight till anyone who could take his life would come forward to do so.

He would not let his kingdom be taken from him through despicable means. He would not let the secret that he had fathered three bastards during his travels reach the ears of his power hungry friends in court.

Thus, Eden came into play. He had to kill the bastards of the king, but he had to do so without knowing it. The king therefore resolved to have him destroy the planet where he had fathered three bastards.

The Mad king only got much worse as the threat to his throne increased and he found out Eden's capabilities were only sufficient to destroy the smaller countries of the planet. So, he took Eden under his wing and trained him for seven years himself. During this period, Eden experienced tremendous growth as he was being trained by the most powerful person on Alpha Earth.

Seven years was what it took for Eden to grow as strong as the Mad king wished, and finally he was asked to go on a first mission. To take on a small planet not too far from 1st Earth. As expected, he thrilled the Mad king as he took it down in a single blow. And for the first time in seven years, the Mad king smiled at him and said, "you are ready."

The Mad king sent Eden to go claim Earth 27 and add it to his conquered planets. Eden knew better, or at least he was trying to be better - trying to be good. Eden went to do some research on this "Earth 27". He did not find anything the Mad king would want to destroy it for, which made this task all the more suspicious.

After Eden had trained with the Mad king for seven years, the Mad king will occasionally send him to go claim a planet every two or three years, for so many years, so he had gotten damn good at it that he could destroy a planet from outside the planet.

But something Eden always did was to research the planet. He didn't care if the planet was good or not. He just cared if they offended his Lord Moloch. If they did, they were going down, and if they didn't, well, there hadn't been a planet he was sent to destroy that hadn't offended Moloch, until now.

This very development made Eden suspicious, so he went to see the Mad king. The king let him in and the ifrst thing he asked was if the planet was taken care of. "No, Your Grace. I just came to inquire as to why you would want to destroy such a peaceful planet." Eden replied.

"What!? You dare to tell me that you are questioning whether or not to go where I send you?" Moloch's voice reverberated around the throne room, so loud Eden was shaking with fear.

"Forgive me, Your Grace, for I am just a stupid ignorant boy. I am indebted to His Greatness so whatever need doing, I will do without asking. So please punish me for prying, my Lord."

"Prying?" Moloch asked in a voice much softer than his last that you would mistake them for two extremely different people. "You could never pry into matters that are yours. This is because they are yours, is it not?"

"Yes, your Grace."

"So, why do you say that you pry into my matters?"

*silence*

"Eden, do you remember the first important thing I said to you when you arrived here?"

"Yes, your Grace."

"And what was it I said to you?"

"You said, 'All that is mine is now yours', Your Grace."

"Good, you do remember." Moloch said before standing from his throne and slowly making his way down while adding. "Now, as much as I'd like to waste time with this father - son chat, it is time for you to complete the task I gave to you. Come back when you are done and we will talk, okay?"

"Yes, father. Since you wish that Earth 27 be taken, then, your wish is my command. Earth 27 will be taken."
