CHAPTER 1 :: FATE.

In this world, a belief that is widely known by everyone, is about a red, string of fate.

They say two people connected by the red thread are destined lovers, regardless of place, time, or circumstances. This magical cord may stretch or tangle, but never break.

She slowly regained consciousness, opening her eyes at a slow pace.

She is confused by her surroundings, the architecture of the room is different, thus she has never been here before.

"I am supposed to be inside a casket." she pondered. She stood up carefully, to see how her body looks.

"This isn't my hands..neither my feet."

She observed her surroundings, her clothes, and what she feels.

She wore strange clothing she does not wear before, neither the room she's in.

The rain falls gently, as the cold breeze of the air touches her skin.

She opened the door, only to see walled compounds, raised pavilions, wooden columns and panelling, yellow glazed roof tiles, landscaped gardens, and a pond filled with koi fish.

She stepped back inside, noticing a mirror. She went to look what her face looks like. "This isn't me.. What happened?.." she is more confused and anxious. Until she have recalled her past memories. In her previous life, she have encountered a famous novel she once read. It reminded her of the face she saw at the mirror. silky white hair,skin white as snow, a pair of blue ocean eyes and natural red lips. Truly gorgeous. But this character is nothing but a mere side character to help the female lead to achieve her goal easier.

In the novel "Red Phoenix", this character died to to her stupidity and foolishness.

She doesn't know how many good opportunities were with her, as a daughter of a powerful man, she didn't take good care of her fortune. She was frail and timid. Of all the characters in the novel, Zhiqian(previous name of the soul) has transported in a body that's just for decoration.

"It seems I have transmigrated where it was a week before Qinyang's wedding."

She thought before opening the doors only to see inattentive servants.

"Sigh,the author has really made Qinyang look bad. It's time to fix these servants, they don't even know how to greet properly." she thought.

In the original novel, Qinyang is known to be kind and frail. Everyone used her kindness against her. They did not repay her with her kindness back but their greedy thoughts. As they took advantage of Qinyang, they embezzled her allowance, and did not treat her well for her health detroit more. Qinyang thought everything was fine and did not mind it so the servants kept doing their evil deeds freely.

Her story is so tragic. Even till her death she wasn't given justice. If she only made better choices rather than her past ones, she could've made it. But that's alright, now that I'm here, we are just one. I will change her fate with my own hands. Especially the trashy heroine of the original novel, I will have her reap what she sow. But the servant's loyalty is a problem. I'll try doing my old way to make them submit to me.

Qinyang walked towards a maid and spoke, "Gather everyone at the courtyard."

The maid did not respond and ignored Qinyang. "don't order us around. We're Seventh prince's servants." the maid then replied.

Qinyang pulled out a sword and pointed it at the maid's neck. "I do not like repeating my words. I am the future seventh prince's wife, and will be your master.When did a low servant dare disrespect its master?." Qinyang replied.

The maid wasn't terrified at all,she chucked. The other servants just stare at them. "What can you do? the prince doesn't even know you at all." the maid answered, as Qinyang stabbed her causing for the maid to bleed.

"Know your position, and if you don't, I shall remind you. I am the first lady of Wei Manor, the daughter of the honored general. You are all but lowly servants. Anyone who dare disrespect me shall meet their end. Now gather infront of me at once or you'll end up like her."

The other servants were surprised and horrified, so they hurriedly gathered together.

"Very well. Now that all of you have gathered, I have just a speech for everyone. "

"Anyone who have the audacity to disrespect my order will get what they deserved. I am your master and you are a servant. From today onwards, you should know that I am not someone you can easily mess up with." Qinyang announced.

"... Cough!.. " Qinyang suddenly coughed hard, as the other servants still has their heads down.

"Someone bury this maid's corpse and clean it up.Everything that happened today will be kept here."

"Yes, princess." all the servants replied as Qinyang head back in the room.

"Here's the tea, princess." a servant entered the room and presented a tea.

"What's your name?" Qinyang asked.

"This servant's name is Meimei, your highness." the maid uttered as she bow down.

"Alright, leave. Wait by the door." Qinyang replied and attempted to take a sip at the tea.

Just before she could drink, she noticed something strange with the tea. Sniff..

"This is.."

"The tea contains poison!...I've encountered this poison before, It's called Angel's Compound." Qinyang pondered. She was surprised,because if she would've drank the tea, her condition will be worst.

"No wonder why.. I've coughed blood."

"The audacity of them to try and poison me...I'll find out who did this!" she thought to herself, angry by the situation. She stood up and opened the door once again.

"Call the servant incharge of my tea!"
