Nice to meet you

Nikko is squinting his eyes. He is looking with his friend who is dragging him to come in the canteen. He is doubting his friend, Elai, who is very picky with foods and don't like the canteen but is now currently very eager to go in the canteen with him.

" Is there something there that you want to see" Nikko asked.

" Would be better if that is my reason. But I am trying to save my life right now friend. I really need to do this to save my ferrari and X-box"

Nikko didn't reply as he saw the entrance to the canteen and feel how his stomach is grumbling.

While entering through the door, Elai looked around and just continue dragging Nikko to order and get food. After getting food, Nikko once again drag him to the last table

" Wait Elai, where are we going? Can't you see, someone is already sitting there?" Nikko whispered

" I know. Today, we are eating with them."

Nikko didn't have the time to complain anymore as they already arrived at the table where all school officers are. Elai talked with them but Nikko can't understand a thing as all he can do is to look at everyone. He can't even speak at all. Everyone in front of him are the most respectable school officers from School President to the lowest position which made him overwhelmed. Nikko is considering his life as an average life, he really looks up to everyone who has authority and it does not exclude school officers.

Nikko just came back with himself as he felt Elai guiding him for a seat. His eyes widen as he noticed where he is being guided to. It is beside the president. He looks at his friend who has also already seated in front of him. He would like to shout at his friend but he is being surrounded by the people he respects. He just sit there listening with others talking.

" You have a ring? Is that a promise ring given by your girlfriend?" The school president suddenly asked.

Nikko's attention turned to the President. He saw the latter looking at his hand. He felt a sudden chill with the president's dark look. Nikko grabbed his left hand to cover the ring.

"No. I bought it myself" Nikko awkwardly replied.

All of the sudden, the President grabbed his hand and look at the ring even more. Nikko tried to withdraw his hand but the president's hold became tighter.

"You should bring this to a customizer. This ring will be better if it has the word ZEKE"

"ZEKE?" Nikko asked unconsciously.

Finally, the President let go of Nikko's hand.

" Well, ZEKE is my name. I'm the school president. Nice to meet you"

Nikko didn't ask anymore why should he put the president's name in his ring, instead he just reluctantly smile.

"Hi I'm Nikko"

Zeke smile and then put his hand on Nikko's lap as if it is just a normal thing to do before replying to Nikko. "I know"

Nikko s heart beat faster as if he somewhat pulled a trigger that will cost his normal life.

Nikko just shrug it all off and continue eating. It has been minutes away but still Zeke isn't removing his hand on Nikko's lap.

Elai has been occasionally looking at them, eyeing Nikko's reaction, thinking if his friend is mad at him for dragging him in this situation.

Zeke is Elai's cousin but his father is trusting Zeke more than his son. Well he can't blame his father for Elai don't like studying and working unlike Zeke. And just yesterday, Zeke approached him telling him that he will tell his father that he has been cutting classes more than 7 times within the month. He begged to Zeke to not do it and the latter did agree in one condition, he needs to introduce him to his friend Nikko. Elai did not know why his cousin knows Nikko but still agree to Zeke's condition thinking that there will be no bad things to happen if he did.

" Tomorrow is President's birthday party, is everyone here will come?" a man who is currently the school treasurer asked.

Everyone said yes except Nikko and Elai as they don't think they are also being asked.

Nikko had stopped eating as he noticed that everyone is looking at him. He awkwardly smiled and shyly replied.

" Maybe I'll go if Elai will go too". He just said it believing that his friend won't go.

"Of course He will, he is my cousin after all" Zeke said looking at Elai. Everyone didn't think anything wrong about it but Elai knew that his cousin is blackmailing him.

Elai just smiled then the bell has rang indicating that after lunch classes will start within ten minutes. Nikko and Elai immediately stand up. Only then Nikko realized that Zeke has not removed his hand on Nikko's lap for the entire lunch. They both bid their goodbye as they still need to run to their room which is very far from the canteen.

Nikko and Elai walked to the door without knowing that there is someone looking intently at them, specifically at Nikko, while thinking sensual things.
