A Sacrifice for a Reincarnation

Male voice: "Congratulations you have risen three levels, now I will appear before you."

Leo huffed nervously closing his eyes to calm himself, but when he felt Lumia was almost waking up he returned calmly and slowed his pulse using his will.

When he opened them he saw the spirit of a lion so small that it could be held in his hand, it was very tender and chubby, its mane and coat were midnight blue in color and streams of red, orange and white energy flowed out of its body and enveloped it as if it were the rings of an atom.

Leo: "I see you are quite tired, Do you need a supplement?"

Leo: "Apparently there's always one there even when I want to relax."

The spirit changed color becoming tending to red, looking at the scene however he understood that indeed he had appeared at an inappropriate time, he recomposed himself and made three holographic screens appear in an instant with an ultra technological panel and they were stationary in midair as if unaffected by gravity.

Leo: "What the heck is going on?"

The little lion activated all three waiting patiently for the displays to process the three powers to be delivered to the draconic demon, when the machines finished processing the little entity was in shock from the abilities it had to give Leo.

Leo: "It is not possible, these three abilities are so strong that if they evolved."

Leo looked at the three results trying to understand what they meant, but the writings were done in a language he could not understand. They were written in basic Runic, but had elements of Korean and Japanese ideograms.

Leo: "Pardon me for asking, could I know your name Atomic Little Lion? ".

The little spirit in a moment stood before the boy, he was so full of anger that he turned electric red and caught fire.

Lion: "Only my Maker can create me like that, so don't you ever dare, by the way my name is Athoraekos."

The draconic demon looked at the writing in curiosity, then turned to look at the Athoraekos who was still fuming.

Leo: "changing the subject what powers have I received Atho?"

The entity was embarrassed that he had called him that, coughed to recompose himself and throw a stream of cosmic energy at the boy that knocked him out.

????: "one hundred souls to be reborn or one of a guardian, you now have a chance to be reborn."

Leo saw only darkness but could not understand where the voice was coming from, his cat came to his mind but he did not see her next to her.

Leo: "What happened to Lumia?"

???? : "she sacrificed herself so you could have a chance to live."

The boy was overwhelmed by grief and memories of his past that were now infirm, hatred and anger and resentment and despair took over.

Leo: "Why...they said it was a Punishment but we could save ourselves somehow, instead it's just carnage I don't want to live anymore what's the point of continuingeeee!"

Finally he burst into tears and felt his body burning from his pains, anxieties, fears, everything from his previous life that had been tormenting him since childhood.

????: "You can't give up, it's a unanimous decision, you don't know the love that cat has for you."

????: "You gave him everything for her and when she turned into an anthropomorphic being, the remorse for not being able to reciprocate that gesture was consuming her."

Leo in his grief created a happy expression after years of suffering, wiped away the tears also continued to fall.

Leo:" I accept rebirth however I have a question, what powers have I received?"

??? : "You have four in total one is secret and the others are Omni Learning, Primordial Evolution and Chaos Progression and they are all passive."

Leo: "Whenever you want I am ready to leave my world and live a new life."

???: "Is there a price to pay though? Your memories will be erased and new ones created."

Before the boy could even say anything, total darkness enveloped him and the boy sensed absolutely nothing for hours, until he opened his eyes and saw that he was locked in a cell with a collar around his neck and chains on his hands.
