THE FRESHMEN.

"Rinnng, Rinnnngg, RRiiiinngg!!"the bell echoed loudly through the halls of golden stone high school.

The usual chatter and laughs gave the hall its lively appearance as this school was for teenagers, they made their way to their next classes some quicker than others.

As one student made his way through the halls unnoticed then all of the sudden it was as if all of the conversations in the room was focused on him (let's face most was pretty much fixated on him) he had jet black shaggy hair, tanned skin, a pair of large glasses ad a tuck in shirt with an ironed tie.... IN SUMMARY HE LOOKED LIKE A DORK, NERD, GEEK, whatever you could think of but instead of hiding away on shame he seemed to be trying to engage in small talk "Hey Connor, how's it going".

"**** off dweeb".

"OK harsh, hey Simon up for some RPG" as he demonstrated by playing with an imaginary game pad.

"No"came the sharp response.

Victor sighed heavily in defeat😞 then made another attempt.

"Hey Britney.... "he was interuppted as a large muscular hand gripped his head and spun him around to face the large bulk of pure bulk looking at him with menance

"Stay away from my girlfriend!! "Bruce said harshly.

"Well, Bruce... "Victor swallowed hard " I was just like five metres away from her so...... ".

As he know found himself in a critical dilemma standing or more like cowering at the sight of the school bully's wicked and wrothful face.

The same person who had publicly humiliated him on his first day at the school almost making Victor transfer seemed to have now found an excusable reason to finish his unfinished work.

"You wanna act smart, star?! ".

"No, Noo, Noo, i'm as dumb as clay"victor objected weakly.

"Hey guys"Bruce called out as two other large bodies(not as big as Bruce and not quite smart) "It seems star needs to learn another lesson"Bruce chuckled cynically.

"Please don't.. I learned last time"victor continued to cower in fear.

"Why don't you listen to him... "came a voice sharply through the hall

"..... It'll be a wise choice you know"nosliw stood clad in the school uniform, white long sleeve shirt, red tie and an equally red skirt with black stockings and white/red sneakers, her face as friendly as ever like a stormy night .

"And what if we don't you gonna beat us up, girl"one of Bruce's men replied.

"Just **** off and don't try playing hero bitch", the other added ignorantly

Nosliw chuckled and cracked her knuckles,

"Perfect, I needed a good exercise anyway"putting a wicked at killer smile on her that sparked a little fear in Bruce and his men well fine Victor mostly

Meanwhile in the principal's office, a bald head figure with a well trimmed beard, wearing a white overall with a loosened black tie and a pair of spectacles as he was fixed to his chair reading a newspaper with the caption.

KILLER VAMP ON THE LOOSE.

"Damn you Nosliw"the principal hissed and flung the news paper to make a soft thump on his desk in annoyance.

"Soon your flame is gonna go out" which he expressed by blowing off the tiny swaying light of flame he had formed on his index finger, and slowly slumped into his chair groaning, to take a nap.

The door was slammed open by an equally bald student wearing a sweater that had a name tag which read (head prefect).

"Principal Boris!"the boy said.

"Damn it, Carl I told you to never interrupt me while I'm napping".

"I'm sorry sir but its urgent".

"What is it?"the principal asked with yawning and sleepy eyes.

"Bruce and his gang are about to assault a female freshman!!".

The three words rang in the principal's head, ASSAULT, FEMALE, FRESHMAN spinning around in his subconscious state until his rusty kicked in, analyzed the situation and jolted him from his sleepy state.

"WHATT!!!??"

, he screamed with fright and quickly picked up his suit and dashed out of the office.

He quickly made his way through the halls with Carl trailing behind him, just a few weeks ago bruce and his gang had attacked a male freshman unknowingly his father was a top government worker and he ultimately threatened to shut down the school if not that the school board paid a great amount of "COMPENSATION"{more like bribe 💰💰 if you ask me😒} and they also did a lot of begging and pleading he withdrew his complaint and his son also, boris almost lost his job blah blah blah... The main point is boris wasn't ready to lose his job so he wasn't gonna let that happen again especially to a girl.

{Also I know your asking he didn't know it was Bruce who humiliated victor;WHY❓weeellll he was hung on a pole with his under wear and his face flushed with toilet water also Bruce was smart enough to leave his initials at the scene of the crime and like any bully he threatened Victor not to tell anyone it was him, But now he was about to be caught GIRL- HANDED... 😄😊😁get it}

Boris followed the sounds of screams cheers and blows, shoving through the halls of students with each step his anger and anxiety increased tremendously it seemed as if anymore and he'll develop high blood pressure,sweat filled his broad face which he wiped off with his handkerchief, while his faced turned red with rage he approached the main gal and barged open the door.

"BRUCE ROBERTS!!!!!, This is the last straaaaaa.... ". The principal stopped yelling abruptly to stare at the pitiful situation.

Victor was staring unbelievably at nosliw who was stomping on Connor with one of her legs while the other one she used it to hold down the other two, upon noticing the silence that now filled the room she turned to face the principal for a brief moment their was shock on her face which quickly transformed into a glare.

"Yoouu"nosliw said with disgust and anger. The principal still remained shocked as he thought aloud confused

"Nosliw"

Nosliw stood in the principal's office, as he ushered her into a seat "here, sit down". He then created a fireball in his hand and hid it behind his back, Nosliw which had already noticed arched an eyebrow.

"Boris, I didn't come here for a fight i'm here to take someone with me, so if you don't wanna start one, you better quench that fire ball and sit your *** down...". Nosliw said coldly,

"....if you don't I guess I'll just have to play along.

She said as she brought her claws out from her hands as the sharp weapon caught a glint of sunlight that reflected in Boris' eyes.

"Fine"he said weakly as he took his seat, so how did you get here".

"You should know that I have my ways boris yet I didn't expect to meet you here so as it would seem you've been literally hiding in plain sight".

Nosliw said as she analyzed the room with her eyes.

"So who or what exactly are you looking for"boris queried her while she picked up the students file book and flipped through the pages and stooped at the page which the title (victor star) then showed it to boris whom read it aloud

"hmm, victor star that kid you saved what for exactly..... just curious"he said casually.

Nosliw heaved a sigh then shifted her gaze from the book to Boris "we're siblings, is that enough for ya".

"Oh snap... "Boris chuckled. "... Big sister Nosliw here for her little brother"he mocked.

"Very funny, you idiot..... "Nosliw said not in the least bit amused as she headed for the door and grabbed the handle.

".... We're twins".

"Ehem, Ehem... "Boris faked a cough. "you know I can't just let you go like that after what you did to those boys"

Nosliw turned around to face him then scoffed "yeah, right"then exited the room.

"I'm coming after your head Nosliw you better watch out".

"Yeah, yeah.. You better watch your back too since I've figured out your hiding place". Nosliw's voice came from outside and stung Boris as it turned out he was at disadvantage.

"Shit" Boris hissed.

"Rinnng, Riingg, Riinnngg"the bell rang for the last time For the day, since it was closing period, the halls, classes, offices slowly emptied as everyone made their way to their various homes, Nosliw for one was not in much of a hurry, which is why victor was able to catch up with her.

"Hey, hey, slow down"victor said panting and gasping for air.

Nosliw turning around to face the person now standing in front of her. As she thought,

"The seal worked perfectly he is as regular as a regular person".

"Damn your Fast"Victor said weakly as he continued gasping for air and sweating.

"What is your purpose for stopping me" Nosliw queried.

"To thank you of course, for what you did earlier.... "Victor stated.

"... It's my first week and it's nice that at least someone helped me for the first time, so wanna be friends".

He stretched out his hand hoping for a handshake.

Instead there was a long awkward pause as nosliw stared at him dryly.

"No"she finally said and turned around.

"What!!"victor exclaimed.

"Our allegiance is already forth coming but not yet"nosliw said and walked away briskly down the street.

"Oookayy so later then"victor said dissappointedly.

*BEEP*

His pocket rang and shook with a frenzy he then checked his phone to see the new message from his mom.

Then he texted back "i'll be home soon" then he noticed the hallow falls TV van speed out from a street by making a sharp turn heading straight to Nosliw as if to run her down then in a split second drifted across the asphalt then intercepted nosliw and parked in front of her. {A bliddy good show of reckless driving}.

While hajile who stopped his impending call half way in his throat to Nosliw to get away from the overspeeding Van upon noticing that she was safe he started to think about what just happened.

A new girl at school was almost run down by a van but for some reason she didn't seem to even look scared or frightened by her close encounter with the great beyond what's more instead she had a straight face with her eyes a little bit narrowed, One would have thought she was just being a Bad-*** and she was as scared as hell inside but Victor thought differently he could sense that their was something between her and the reckless driver thinking more about just gave him a headache he was gonna test his theory.

"What's Nosliw have to do with a Hallow Falls news van"victor thought aloud.

"I guess I'm a little curious"he said and slowly trailed towards the scene.

The front door swung open revealing a feminine figure.

"Quinley Vance"nosliw grimaced with disgust, she was really hoping it would be someone who just happened to also drive the city's news van.

"Oh come on Nosliw skip the formalities"the reporter began enjoying the sound of her self profound sweet voice well at least it got most drunk and useless men to listen to the news as it was always so COMPELLING.

"it's early night so call me QUEEN VAMP", as she finished her introduction her eyes turned black and red with the veins around it becoming more visible glowing red, with sharp teething and large fangs.She licked her lips with anticipation for the coming battle, at this juncture Nosliw was already expecting battle but she didn't attack just yet she wanted to know what Quinley really wanted what were her motives after all she wasn't the best vamipire at individualism.

Learning that the one of the city's best reporters was some kind of monster was too much for hajile his knees buckled and his shoulders trembled the sight of this left him fear and confusion as he fell on his butt in his hiding corner in a state of mild shock.
