POV - Olivia

my alarm just went of exactly at 6:30Am I groaned as I forced myself to get up from the bed as I was really getting late for work now it's been 2 weeks since that accident happened. But in a positive note this whole accident situation do made me reconsider every damn decision I have ever made in my life. Me having 2 weeks off from work made me realize that I actually hate my job it drives me nu*s like no I don't wanna sit and talk with my creepy boss who is making no sense and who always push of my ideas on how to increase the sales of our company just because am a female! I just wanna punch that old douche bag, all he wants is to get inside of my pants and to be honest not only with me but with the entire female population of the office like man! he is almost 60 and look at this man ugh! thinking about him makes my blood boil but nothing to do gotta get ready for the office because I don't wanna be late and listen to any kind of lecture, that will surely be my last push before I kill that bas*ard. Anyways I got ready and packed some leftover red sauce gnocchi from the last night actually I made it by my self and was really proud of the piece of art I created, Actually I developed a passion for cooking recently and to be honest I love cooking and experimenting with various cousins OH shoot am gonna me sooo late for work gotta hurry the shit up Olivia. As I was driving to the office I noticed Lisa's cafe was closed till now but it's almost 10 in the morning and her shop is usually in a heavy rush at this time but today the cafe is all close up, I was really worried whether she is ok or not so decided to call her up but unfortunately my phone was dead jeez why this happens to me all the time I forgot to charge up my phone last night. Anyways I will call her up at my break time, the day goes on as usual nothing special at all, those boring meetings and fixing dates with the clients and a few coffee,after a very awful morning I was really looking forward for the lunch break, I checked the clock and yes! only 10 minutes more I was really looking forward for this break it was much needed ~grruuuu~ said my stomach she needs this break more than I need, as I was looking out from the window trying my best to ignore my growling stomach, when suddenly I got an email I quickly opened the email and it was marked as "URGENT MEETING".Bitch what now?? I said, I was beyond angry not angry I was hangry but I guess my lunch had to wait a little, but before that I really need to eat a little something so my stomach don't make me embarrassed in there so I just grabbed a piece of chocolate shoved it in my mouth and hurried away. In the conference room there was a middle aged woman was sitting in the chair where our boss used to sit boss and our boss who is MR.smith was sitting beside her with a almost cry baby like face. I was really confused at this sight because never have I ever saw Mr.smith like that let alone that women whoever she was.i must admit she is really interesting to look at. like she gives that bad bitch aura not that I am complaining. Mr.smith instructed us to sit so did we after 10 minutes into the meeting we clearly understood that Mr.smith is no longer our boss and this lady who's name is Miss. Forbes is our new boss. Turns out Mr.smith is in a huge depth so the board of directors decided to let miss.Forbs take his place for good. Okk I guess my work won't be that bad form now on. this is amazing so worth for making me wait for my lunch I said to myself. After Mr. smith left we all welcomed Miss. Forbes. she introduced herself and man she is really that cool boss. and now work is going to be just fine. As I was about to exit her cabin she called me I went to her and said yes Miss. Forbes ? Call me Martha not Miss Forbes it's too formal I wan to bond with you guys so anyways can you show me around the office I guess it's quite a big place and new for me too, and I really don't want to be that one who is lost all the time so how about we catch up after lunch ? yes yes Miss. Forbes I mean Martha for sure that will be my pleasure. During my lunch break I decided to call up Lisa because her cafe is still not opened yet. And I am concerned after what happened to me that day, I was really anxious so I called her up *The number which you are calling is currently switched off* I heard from the other side. I was beyond terrified as I was drenching myself into all these thoughts Martha appeared and asked me to show her around. communicating with Martha was really easy she was very friendly and everything. Well thanks for the little tour Olivia I will see you around ok ? I nodded. it was almost 9 pm and my time to return home but suddenly the thought of Lisa came across my mind like where is she ?? she is not available in her phone and she is not in her cafe as well what had happened ?? I decided to go up to her place to check by my self it was around 20 minutes drive. At exactly 9:30 I reached her apartment it was dark, all the lights were gone seems like no one is here but how is that even possible. it's like what Monday today and she can't be in a vacation right ? let alone without letting me know right ?still I decided to ring the door bell but as I expected no one answered gosh! what is happening why everything is so off lately I just wanna cry at this moment but still I decided to hold onto this matter and wait for tomorrow if I hear nothing from her side then I am gonna file a missing report about her. The thought of loosing my best friend is making me cry. I was driving back to my home with tones and tones of thoughts about her, where did she go like literally she just vanished into thin air, after a while I reached my apartment and, got out from my car and went up to my apartment I was about to unlock the door when I found a paper note stick to my door which was written by Lisa the note says [- hey Olivia imma go on a little trip for 5 days and sorry for not letting you know thought you might be worried about me but don't worry I will be back soon - Lisa ] But this is not Lisa's handwriting! what is going on???
