What's wrong with me?

Angela's POV:

I was lying on the bed, lost in deep thoughts that I didn't notice when Daniel came inside the room. He was still in the wedding suit, facing opposite me, losing his bowtie. Then he turned around and said, "You can sleep on the bed, I'll be fine on the sofa." It was the first time I heard his voice, a very deep voice. I just nodded and then again lay on the bed. He went to the washroom. I could hear that he was taking shower. I could not sleep because my life had been in chaos for the last 3 days, it was still unacceptable to me, so I sat up on the bed rested my back on the bed rest, and started looking at my mobile phone. I looked at the wallpaper it was my mom's picture.

She is the most beautiful person in my eyes and will always be. "I miss you, mom. I wish you could be here with me to support me. why do I lose everyone whom I love with all my heart? Why in the end I am left alone?", my words turned into sobs. Then I heard the washroom door opening. I quickly wiped my tears and lay on the bed pretending to be sleeping.

Daniel's POV:

I was taking shower when I heard someone sob. I felt pain when I realized it was Angela. I don't know why this girl has such a strong impact on me. This never happened earlier. I finished taking shower and stepped into the room. and saw her lying on the bed facing the other side. I went there near the sofa and lay down. The next day was my meeting with a very important client, so I looked at the documents on my iPad. Suddenly my gaze went towards Angela.

When I looked at her sleeping face, I was so mesmerized by her looks that I almost dropped my iPad. She is so beautiful.

I came to my senses and looked at my iPad screen which was turned off. "What the...", I said when I looked at my reflection on the screen. "What the hell was I doing right now? Why was I smiling like an idiot.", I said to myself. Then put my iPad aside and slept.

***2AM***

I suddenly woke up to a voice. I saw it was Angela, who was mumbling in sleep, she was calling her mother. I went towards her and sat by her side. "Angela...Angela", I tried to wake her up. She was still mumbling even more, "Mom...mom please don't leave me. Please don't go", she was crying. I could not see her like that so I pulled her closer to me and tried to comfort her.

After some time she calmed down. I put her head on the pillow and was just leaving the bed she suddenly grabbed my hand. I turned around and saw that she was still in her sleep.

I sat on the floor looking at my hand in her hand. Then I looked at her face. She was sleeping so peacefully, that made me smile. I rested my head on the bed and slept.
