You can spend minutes, hours,days, weeks and months overthinking the past.

Trying to put together pieces,imagining what could've been, should've been or would've been.

Or you can pick up the pieces off the floor and move on as a stronger, smarter person.

Stacy entered her boyfriend's house to give him a surprise. At the entrance she saw a pair of heels and she heard some kind of sounds but was afraid to hear it clearly. She headed to the bedroom and the moans were getting louder. She opened the door trembling and tears falling down her cheeks when she saw her boyfriend squated down between the legs of her best friend. Her heart shattered into thousands of pieces. She wanted to scream to her throat. "Stacy it's not what you think!!! I can explain!!!!" Said Bella. "Stacy!!!!!!"

Andrew yelled.

She ran and ran just wanting to go far far away from them. Tears streaming down her face. He was her first love, her first kiss, her first time. She believed him with her eyes closed. He was the only person who gave her comfort, who understood her, who saw her the way she is.

But

Is this all true? Did he really understand her or was all this her misconception? Or was she so blinded by her love for him that she forgot about herself?

Stacy stopped running and stood emotionless in front of her house. She wiped her tears and took a deep breath calming herself down. She pinched herself so that it could distract her. She went inside the house with a smile on her face hiding her pain.

"Stacy!!! Why are you back so soon? Didn't you go to meet your boyfriend?"

Stacy smiled and replied "He wasn't at home so I came back".

She was walking towards her room when a

thought crossed her mind, " Auntt, I am going to find myself a job. I want to be financially independent".

Aunt Esme was shocked to hear this. In the past she had tried to convince Stacy the same thing again and again but she always smiled and said,"I will devote my whole life to my husband". So what happened now? What is she thinking?

Okay" Aunt replied. She didn't know what to say.

She went inside her room locking the door. The tears welded up. She swiped at her eyes but the tears came any way. She felt her throat closing up. She sat on the bed and pulled her knees into a hug.

She was crying She was crying her eyes out. It hurt so much. She was having a headache. She wanted to scream so loud. She wanted all the pain to go away. She was losing it. She was in so much pain.

knock knock. knock knock.

"Stacy?" knock knock. "Stacy it's 8 o' clock wake up!!!" Aunt Esme yelled.

"Don't you want to go to your graduation?"

knock knock.

"Wake up Stacy!!!!!"
