They had promised each other that they'll always be together. Their love was just so different, far greater than those clichéd one night stand they show in movies.

It was real love- you know, that kind of love that makes you wanna float in air, forget about the past and gives you sleepless nights. Yes that kind of love. Curled up in the same shawl watching the moon, spending entire nights talking about their future and the places they'll visit in their honeymoon.

Until one day he called her..

She: Hey how are you, my to-be hubby?

He: Listen, I need to talk to you.. Its something serious..

She: (gets scared) Is everything alright, how is your company trip going? How is USA?

He: It's not working- the two of us.. I have met someone whom I cannot forget now. Her name is Rachel and it's just I cannot leave her now.. I think you'll understand….

It's 6:30, he is late. He never does that. I want to tell him something, decided Anya.

I am sorry, I am late. I was busy, Ayan explained. His clock struck 7 :30.

Hey Ayan ! I want to tell you something, said Anya.

Go ahead ! I too want to tell you something, replied Ayan.

Ayan you are special for me. You have always been with me in every thick and thin of my life. But, But, hesitated Anya.

I love you from the core of my heart. I can't even think of a day without you, smiled Ayan.

Ayan listen ! I can't marry you. We don't have a future. My parents want me to marry someone else, quickly vomited Anya.

Nooooo ! No ! You are joking right. You are lying. I can sense it. You know, I can't live without you, cried Ayan.

Anya closed her fist gathered courage and repeated, Ayan I can't marry you. I will not go against my parents wish. Forget me, declared Anya.

Forget you ? Anya ? You mean life to me. Look, I was going to reject the offer to work in U.S.A. It was my dream opportunity but not as important as you. You can't do that to me. Don't go please, melted Ayan.

Anya stood up and turned her back to Ayan. Tears rolled down to her cheeks, faked a rude tone and said, “ Go for it, I don't care” and walked away.

Ayan stood broken there. Ring fell from his hands, which he brought for her. You are lying Anya. I love you Anya, whispered Ayan.

No words to explain. love story died, only silence prevailed there after.
