A fresh beginning..

" I have found a perfect pair for you ...come and take a glance,Alice...."

Her cheerful yet thunderous voice fell right on my ears....

That's Ashley...My dear sister...elder one of course but she has done a PhD in behaving immaturely...

I quickly ran and looked at the direction she was pointing her fingers...we were standing in our home's balcony..

There was a guy who was holding a book and sitting in the nearby street bench...He was surely focussed on that book and his ears were occupied by earphones...I don't know what kind of song might be playing in that asset...

" Didn't I already tell you ,I have no interest in nerds ?"

I rolled my eyes and walked back to my room from balcony...

Mom came in saying, " Alice ...Ashley.... its gonna be 9 already and you two are still chitchatting..."

Alice : Mom..I'm already ready...

Ashley : I'm also ...

Mom urged us to get ready quickly cause it was my first day for college...

woah...! I'm surely excited...

I was wearing a baby blue shirt and jeans...

Ashley looked at me from top to toe and asked," So you're gonna attend your first day classes with this dress,huh ?"

Alice : Yup..what's the problem ?

Ashley : Why don't you try putting on some makeup at least ?

Alice : Come on! Who cares?!

I'm always like that...I rarely care about other people's opinion ...I know what I'm doing and I basically have no idea about typical women dressing sense and makeup stuffs anyway...

So I'm joining the same college as Ashley....

but with a higher academic qualifications...and she is a senior to me...she is ofcourse in her second year and I am a fresher...Mom has high hopes on me that I'll make her proud in the future...and I believe too..cause I have never let down her expectations when it comes to studies...

I hoped in the scooter of Ashley since I don't know driving...

Ashley started driving....while the chill breeze gently touched my face....

Among the hairs of mine that was making waves in the air,I felt an inner peace that something is gonna start...I could feel that fresh beginning...

At least a new surrounding....new friends...of course I'll be too happy I guess...

I'm a person who gives importance to fun and studies equally.

So I believe everything will be awesome for me...

Ashley : Get down..we've arrived...stop day dreaming...sleepyhead...

Alice : That was too quick...

The college campus was so neat and big..

Atleast bigger than I thought...

Then she showed the way to my class....and she whispered " All the best for your first day " in my ears...those words lingered in my ears for the consecutive seconds...cause I was really excited and a bit nervous...

I looked inside the class and it seemed as if there was some exam happening...How can they conduct some tests just right on the first day?..while I was thinking like this, the professor who was watching everyone writing the test,gestured me to come in...

I went in...

Prof : Are you a fresher?

Alice : Yes sir...

Prof..: Go and sit near that window...

He said like that after giving a blank paper ( of course for writing the test ) and a question paper for the test...I sat there with those paper obligatorily...

What the hell ?! What test is this...?

When I looked into the question paper,I found out they're from the basic school subjects...oh..! nice....

so I started writing the answers I know...

I suddenly felt someone's glance over me ....that made me notice the guy sitting next to me...

He was at a two feet distance to me...

His head was like a nest...I mean what hairstyle is that ? Is it a nest ? Surely if any bird sees him,it'll try to build a family inside his hair...
