"So you sent your bodyguards just because she refused to come back" Astra asked her husband. Her voice was chilly and suddenly, "Caleb! Have you officially lost your mind?". "Darling, calm down, it's not like that brat will quietly come back. She most definitely caused a ruckus". Astra sighed while sitting back on the sofa. "You daughter father are going to be the death of me" she said while rubbing her forehead. Caleb stood up and hugged his wife, trying to coax her.

While with Nyx, Jason informed her that it was because of certain guests that he father called her home for. She already expected that much, but who were these guest who could make her prideful dad to ask her after three years of kicking her out from the main mansion to come back.

Soon they arrived in front of the mansion. As soon as she saw the mansion, memories of her leaving the mansion started crowding inside her head. "Please mind your manners in front of the guest my lady and just to inform you they have already arrived" Jason reminded her, but she wasn't having any of it. She rushed inside and started opening one door after another. She reached the main hallway and already could tell the presence of people.

"Clang" the room burst open, and the people inside were taken by surprise. Standing in front of them was a young lady in her early twenties, but her aura was more threatening than a snake. Astra was the first person to catch a glimpse of her daughter. But the woman standing in front of her no longer looked like her beloved daughter. The daughter who had beautiful long hair, fair skin and always looked elegant was now replaced with short hair, skin full of cuts and small bruises, and she looked like a ferocious tigress.

Astra, not being able to control her emotions, rushed towards Nyx and hugged her tightly. Even Caleb was bewildered by his daughter's appearance, let alone the guest. "Why you have so many cuts and bruises?" Astra asked her daughter worriedly. Suddenly Jason spoke from behind Nyx "Young miss engaged in a fight with master's bodyguard and the most of them are in hospital".

Caleb hearing the news was shocked but quickly masked his shock and spoke in a sarcastic tone, "So you finally remember the way to the mansion". Everyone's gazes suddenly fixed on Caleb, but just then Nyx spoke up, "Not really. It was the driver who brought me here, but if you ask me, It's still blurry to me". There was an awkward silence in the room then someone finally spoke up "So you are Nyx Thompson".
