Darkness........

Darkness that was the only thing I saw around me

'is this the after life' 'i guess I'm dead well I've got no regrets at least I died saving someone' but I still felt sad, sad for my parents I didn't want them to suffer because of my death but there's nothing I can do now.

It was then a flash of light appeared in front of me it's was as bright as the sun and it kept getting bigger and bigger till I got swallowed and everything got dark again.

I heard someone's voice

"Hey kid, wake up"

Splash

"Cough cough cough"

"Argh my head"

Huh did I just speak. I quickly opened my eyes.

It was really bright I saw a few blurry figures. after a few seconds things started to clear up I saw a few faces I recognize but I was confused because that people I was seeing were faces of my teachers in high school.

"Hey kid what's wrong with you, you just suddenly passed out"

"Huh what are you saying?"

"STOP messing around or I'm going to beat you back unconscious!!!"

"Come on now we wouldn't want that to happen"

The people in front of me were my home room teacher, P.E teacher, the school nurse and our vice principal.

Suddenly my brain started to fill with different memories. I started to feel pain like never before I was used to pain but the pain I was experiencing was on a different scale even with all the pain I didn't move a muscle more like I couldn't, but my expression couldn't be helped pain was written all over my face I could, this was a different kind of pain.

"Hey hey hey stop it, look"

My home room teacher called the attention of the others and pointed at me.

"Hey clara what is going on why does he have such a pained expression and why is he sweating like that"

The woman named Clara was our school nurse

"I don't know what's going on with him he has been having weird symptoms since you brought him here, I've never seen anything like this before"

Then the vice principal spoke"Clara I think you should use some healing on him maybe it could relief him cause he looks like he's in pain.

I was confused when I heard *use some healing* but I couldn't care less about that what I was worried about was the new memories I was getting and the mental pain it felt like I was getting my brain hit with a hammer. I wanted to pass out but I couldn't, I wanted to yell but I couldn't.

I don't even know how long it has been because it felt like enternity the pain started to reduce slowly.

Suddenly I felt a wave of foreign energy wash over me. The energy brought a calming sensation. Then it happened, the pain started to recede at a mind boggling speed.

In the blink of an eye all the pain was gone. I was shocked cause I estimated it to take hours if not days to eliminate the pain and that was not the most surprising thing, I also felt revitalized and full af energy.

I couldn't rap my head around everything that was happening.

That was when I heard somebody sigh, I opened my eyes to see Mrs Clara covered in sweat. Then everything started to make sense because the new memories I gained made me realize I was in another world where super powers was normal.

"Simon how are you feeling now" asked my home room teacher Miss Laura.

"Yes I'm feeling better now I just need some rest"

"Are you sure you're feeling better"

"Yes miss Laura I'm sure" I smiled while answering here.

"Are you really sur-"

before she could finish her question she got interrupted by Mr valentine the school's vice principal.

"Ok that's enough Laura he said he was fine, now let's give him some time to rest"

Then Mr valentine guided everyone out of the room and left but before he left, he told me I should get prepared for the awakening going on tomorrow.

"Hmm now that I'm alone I need to find out about myself in this world"

I closed my eyes and started to recall all the memories I received. From the memories I got I found out I'm in a world where star beasts invaded the plant and wiped out 70% of humanity. Humans on this world stood no chance against them, humans technology couldn't fight them. Nations were lost.

when humanity has lost hope of ever fighting against the star beasts.

Five mysterious and ancient looking towers descended into the world. No one knows how or where they came from humans were wary of the towers but some people were sent into the towers as a last stride to survive.

Some of the people that were sent into the towers came back and shared what they experienced in the towers the towers helped them to awaken talents that could be used to fight against star beasts, over the next hundred years humans found out the towers that descended had ten levels the ones which are able to climb the ten levels would be blessed with enormous strength enabling humans to fight off the invaders.
