The First Meet

Augustus being the Final year student is presenting his project with his group in a seminar hall. Where the whole Business Administration Department has taken a seat as audience to watch his presentation as he is one of the popular guys. He got many proposals and confessions from girls and even boys but he just straightly rejected and never once been in a relationship with someone.

His attire, him wearing a formal black pant and a full hand white shirt folded till showing of his forearm veins make the girls go crazy over him again.

He walked over the stage and started presenting his part.

on the other side,

A girl in her 1st year same department looking smart and cute wearing a yellow dress opened the doors of the hall slightly and sneaked inside to watch the presentation, after searching in the audience she found a corner seat near the pathway and sat there and started watching the presentation.

When she looked up the stage she saw a guy presenting where girls are going crazy for him, she felt a familiar aura on him. He finished his part in presentation and returned to his group and looked up at the audience,

They both had a deep eye contact.

The girl's eyes started to become teary and tears roll off from her eyes. She just couldn't stop crying at all her mind is messed up and she doesn't know why she is crying, her heart ached.

Augustus's Pov: "After finishing my part of presentation successfully I started to walk off to my group who were near the stage and after reaching I looked upon the audience and suddenly my eyes fell upon a girl with a yellow dress, my heart skipped a beat and my heart ached, my eyes were getting wet. I don't know who she is but I feel her familiar though and he was shocked to see the girl crying looking at him".

Leaving his group Augustus went near the girl and kneeled beside her and gave her a handkerchief and told her

" Wipe your tears and wait for me I will come back, okay?"

She didn't give any reply but just nodded her head.

Augustus returned to the stage to conclude the presentation and after sometime the hall was dismissed and he bit farewell to his group and went to the girl and sat next to her and kept starring at her. He just couldn't take his eyes off her as if she will soon disappear into thin air if he does.

The girl kept her head down and both didn't talk to each other for a while; he want to ask if she is ok? and also why was she crying but he didn't say anything, the surrounding was dead silent. The surrounding came alive after the girl's phone started to ring, the name showed up as Handsome with a heart beside it.

Augustus saw this and his face become dull thinking, [This girl already has a boyfriend, that makes me sad now (imaginary pout), wait a sec why am I even sad I don't even know her, why do I even care, it's not like me]".

The girl took her phone and attended the call with joyful voice saying" Hi Handsome".

Augustus heart skipped a beat hearing her voice, her voice was like an angel to him and he just smiled at her like an idiot but also somehow made him sad because she called someone as handsome.

The girl continued speaking in the call saying " I'm have your present ready and will be there on your birthday for sure next week so don't worry and I will call later because I'm in the middle of something so will talk later ok, take care". she said that and hung up the call. Augustus thinking, [ I guess she is ok now].

The Augustus was really jealous of the person who called her and said to her "You're Handsome Boyfriend must be  worried about you not attending his birthday party and giving him the present as you're living here in the university." with a grumpy face.

The girl laughed at the statement, made Augustus heart go crazy and clenched his shirt in fear in case she will hear it. After having a good laugh she said " Yeah he is worried about me not attending his birthday and u know what his dream is, it is to marry me now".

This statement gave a huge blow to Augustus and he said " Marriage!! You're still young but why does he want to marry you now".

She smiled and said "you're right but he is also young so maybe he just like me a lot that to have a dream like that".

He mumbled "just how young that guy will be, he is clearly brainwashing this girl".

She heard that and laughed again interrupting his mumbling "she said yeah he is just turning 5 this year and he really want to marry me".

Augustus's mind was just stopped thinking and said [what????]

She said with a smile, he is my nephew who is been pampered by our whole family and he likes me a lot.

She looked in his eyes and "said hehe got you" innocently.

He just laughed away and said " So I was fooled". keeping his hand on his forehead thinking, [So she is not taken maybe I just try to give it a go. I don't know why I just want her and I feel so familiar with her, something like this never happened before]. A small smile appeared on his face.

She said " By the way, I'm Samantha from 1st year Business Administration Department while raising her hands for a shake".

He replied " I'm Augustus Final year student as you already know from seeing my presentation". while shaking hands.

Suddenly Augustus got a call from his friend saying that they have to meet up. After hanging up the call he said to Samantha that,

I'm sorry I got to go now; it was nice meeting you by the way. Can we exchange our numbers so that we can keep in touch?

She said " yeah, sure."

They both started to walk down while exchanging their contacts and reached the exit door and bit their farewell and went their ways.

Samantha's Pov: He looks like a nice guy.

Augustus's Pov: Hope we will meet each other soon.
