Chapter 4- Little Z

Well.....how do I start....well little Z's actual name is Zach but I call him little Z. He never lets anyone else call him that he thinks it's embarrassing but he warmed up to me. Little Z was born 2 years after her mother finished highschool so she was 20 and his dad was 23 pretty young if you ask me, little did I know he was going to lose not one but both of them.

Little Z has been through hard stuff he knows that I am not his mother and he knows what happened to his mom and dad although he knows that, nobody else except Jacob knows so it's a little secret between three people. Little Z knows I don't date so he's only asked me once of why don't I have a boyfriend although I didn't answer his question I'm pretty sure he knows what I meant by the silence, but sometimes.... little Z gets bullied because he doesn't have a dad and the one time I tried to help it just got worse that's why I homeschool him. He thanked me and even cried that day, because I cut my hair and changed the way I dressed for a week just to give him the chance to have a dad but on the last day of me being his "dad" he told me to never do it again although he was very grateful to finally have a dad he didn't want me to look like something I'm not, he told me I was his mom and not his dad that day we both cried side by side because it was the first time him calling me......mom. Although that wasn't the full reason of him telling me to not pretend to be his dad I was very happy that day but I the same time I felt useless because the whole story was that the kids told him......." Enjoy your dad while you can he's going to leave either way, sooner or later you'll be alone.....again".
